Rented a 5x10 storage area but later realized I needed a 10x10. The staff accommodated the change and prorated the charges for the time used. This is the second time I have rented storage space at Kent Storage and have been very pleased with the staff and service.

Last fall, we needed a storage place for our convertible for the winter. Greg had a unit available that was just big enough to accommodate it. He assisted me in pulling the vehicle in and putting carpet under the wheels so they would not get a flat spot over the winter storage. When we got it out of storage a couple days ago it did not not even a little dust on it from it's 6 month storage. Everything about our experience was 5 star positive. I hope there is a unit open this fall so we can store it there again. Thumbs up!

My only real issues were not having access after 7pm. It was not a problem so much during winter months but it did create a problem when trying to move out. Also, the fact that there is only one dumpster for the entire facility and it is VERY small is ridiculous. There should either be a couple more dumpsters throughout the facility or a much larger dumpster. Other than that, I had no issues.

People next to the one storage unit I rented had their big Rottweiler and was allowing it to poop and pee all over in the parking lot and up the walls of the unit. It even tried peeing on some of my stuff I had sitting outside while going through things. They had cockroaches as well and their unit was full of trash! They seemed to hang out there frequently. Multiple times I tried to go there to go through stuff and these people would be there in the way and it smelled horrible of animal urine and feces. I eventually had to ask for another unit that ended up being more expensive due to these dirty people. Gave Greg notice of moving out and the week I moved out his dumpster was full and being a good customer, I didn’t want to set trash outside of the dumpster like he asked me not to do so, I left a few things in the unit stacked neatly. I paid for a unit that included dumpster access and I couldn’t take the trash with me so he manually charged a card not belonging to me (a friend helped me out with two payments and he saved the card information obviously) without authorization. The unit was also supposed to included electricity and it never worked the whole time I rented it until the last couple weeks if that. Paid over $200 a month for a unit that was not climate controlled and had no working electricity. The owner, Greg, kept saying I just didn’t know how to use the light switches then after almost a year of renting this unit says, “Oh I forgot I had the breakers switched off” because he decided he wanted to start charging more for the units that had electricity. The hours are ridiculously inconvenient. It made it hard to go do anything because the gates locked early and there was no pin or anything to get in after hours. I was trying to get some things sold but it was difficult because by the time people would be off work and able to get it, the gates would be locked. Plus it would be dark and the unit that was supposed to have electricity didn’t and the lighting outside the units was good for nothing but attracting bugs. This place is a joke and I highly DO NOT recommend. Over priced, inconvenient, trashy people aaaand let’s not forget Greg charges other people’s cards without authorization by keeping all the card info for any card used at the facility and if he feels like charging extra he will use anyone’s card without their permission.

Kent Storage should be number one on any person's storage or moving vehicles needs!!!! Greg and his staff go above and beyond making the stress of moving and storing one's belongings as worry and stress fee as possible!!!! Absolutely and definitely would recommend them if you are faced with an upcoming move!!! An absolute 5 out of 5 star experience!!!

I had a great experience storing items here for 8 months, in a 5’ x 10’ non-temperature controlled unit. When moving out, in October, there were stink bugs living in my non-sealed containers. Nothing was damaged- and the price was great.
