Rented a car dolley. Mechanically it was in poor shape. Tires were bald (cords showing on one)..dangerous! Rims on both wheels were bent and wobbled. ( fortunately only had to go crosstown). Lights didn't work and I know for sure my trailer wiring is good. Nothing was lubed and moving parts were hard to operate. In general not legal and could have been very dangerous had someone operated on highway...

The customer service was exceptional and the truck was very clean, when we got it (and when we returned it). It would be helpful though, if there was a little discussion on the turning radius of the very long 26' truck. The back end of the truck, that hangs out behind the rear tires, really swings out surprisingly wide when you are turning the truck. This is especially tricky to maneuver, which makes it very important to watch what you are doing, while entering and leaving a parking space, or a crowded driveway or a parking lot, etc. It is important to keep checking both mirrors, also ask someone to be your spotter, and go slowly while driving in tight spaces. We did ok, but it would have been nice to have had a quick lesson. We were warned to Not clip the building roof overhang, as we pulled away. More of that kind of stuff, might mean less trouble for people. Thank you, Jim S.

There was very few spots to park the trailer. This location is not the closest to my end location. Uhaul has done this multiple times. There is a location that is roughly 2 miles from my house that I passed on the way to drop the trailer off. The location I would have preferred to drop the trailer had minimal units at it and plenty of space. you should allow customers to drop the unit off at the closest location to their destination zip code. the drop off location was not even in the same postal code.

I kept calling to keep the truck a bit longer and i offered to pay something but they said we would take care of it when i brought the truck back, then all of a sudden I was charged 2 large amounts by uhaul and it overdrafted my acct cuz I wasnt expecting it! Not good! I called uhaul and they couldnt explain why 2 large amounts were taken after I initially paid an amount and I kept asking if I could pay more but was told at the end they would charge me the rest! It didnt happen that way!

I wanted to rent a trailer, they said I needed to pay for 2 days instead of 6 hours because they were closed due to holiday. I hope she was wrong. I found the trailer that I need elsewhere instead of U-haul because of her information or your rules.

Owner very nice and competent.. Staff and manager were unhelpful and told me that they didn't care if I rented U Hauls from them as they don't make any money on it. Tried to invoice me for 4 days when I only reserved and used for 3. Then when I asked them to correct the invoice they told me that I will have to take it up with U Haul. When I wouldn't take that for an answer, they were able to fix the invoice, but made me out to be the bad guy. They tell everyone that calls to go online and do their own reservations. I heard them tell two customers that. Really conveniently close, but I'll go elsewhere next time. It's hard to get good help these days.......

charged me for $17.00 gas when I just filled up around the corner...I actually added more gas than required and I still got ripped off. No check-in or walk around. just took the keys and said goodbye. Poor way to do business. I want my $17.00 back.

The only shortcoming I had with my visit was that the unit I was renting was out in the back of the building where it was dark.... rather than the well lit Parking Lot. So I had to get out of the truck to make sure I wasn't going to back into anything in the dark. I brought a flashlight so I was able to hook up to my trailer rather simply. Employee who assisted me was very nice. Very positive experience-I will go back as it is very close to my home.

Pads and dolled where not provided with trailer. Had to go ask for reserved equipment. One taillight was not working. Returned trailer after hours on same day, and got charged two day rental. This is after they told me where to park trailer if returned after hours.

My rate says 29 dollar but I was like 58 Are u able to rent it for a 1/2 day? Little’s confused about rate Would of brought it back in 8 hours if that was the case

The lady at this location was very nice but they were greatly understaffed. It took forever to get our trailer because she was the only one there to assist. We had to hook it up by ourselves. It was quite difficult. If my husband had sent me alone, I could not have done it and would have left without it. When we got the first one and hooked it up, the lights didn't work and it appeared to be leaking fluid, (not sure what kind). My husband had to disconnect that one and hook up another. I believe ha was there about 1 1/2 hours at least. I would rent from there again because the lady was nice but they need to have more help

The only issue that I had was that the hitch was to high when I picked up the trailer. You might want to let people know that they might need a drop hitch with a truck or bigger SUV in order to maintain the 60-40% weight on hitch.

my pickup location was changed multiple times and never was it to the actual location where I was starting my move. I had to drive 40+ miles just to pick up my U-Haul, which is unacceptable. People are losing precious “moving time” because of that. Not only that, our drop-off location was changed in the afternoon of my moving day. I was at least happy that I was going to be able to drop off in the location I requested but no, that was changed as well. And to make it worse, the destination was 13 miles south when I actually had to drive north. So 26 more miles (and over a half an hour of time was lost). Was my drop-off location changed because someone NEEDED a 26’ truck in Milwaukee? Well I NEEDED a 26’ truck in Fond du Lac earlier that day and no one accommodated me. And lastly, some of the wait times on calling UHaul were absurd. Very very disappointed with UHaul after this. I will be sharing this story to anyone who is planning to use UHaul for their move.

Mike and his boss Dan were over the top accommodating. I wanted to upsize last minute and saw a 26ft truck. It took about 45 mi s but Dan resolved a prior issue with that truck, Mike processed it and it turned out I needed it. I can't think you enough for Dan and Mike's dedication to the customers needs . They made a future customer and I will share with others. Overall this saved me over $3500 using uhaul and the movers hired. Great job uhaul.

Was hard to find the drop box as there were pallets stacked in front of it and was not well lit. Did not receive a message from them the next day so I didn't know if they checked it in or not. plus the box asked for the contract which left me with nothing.
