UHual made a mistake with the drop off location and had me taking it to another location other than the one I requested. Which was thirty minutes away. I had to call to get the location changed and it took three hours to get it straightened out. The customer service representative was not very friendly but, did get the location changed. However, I discovered later there was an additional charge on my credit card reflecting the drop off location I requested to begin with. I was not informed of any additional charges. I didn't bother calling back because it wasn't with the trouble of not being able to reach someone.

The ramp was damaged and would not extend. I tried calling and using the link provided to report damage I discovered, but the link had "expired" and noted to call the place of pickup. I left voice messages and called several times but never heard back. Because I could not contact anyone to swap out with a functional truck, I had to use whatnot had without a ramp which took much longer than expected.

We had a 10' booked and the uhaul on dogwood drive in conyers gave it away and sent us to lithonia to pick up a 15' which we didn't want and they told us they would have a 10' if we waited another day which we did and we were sent to mcdonagh to get a 15' truck which was even further away again. We delayed our trip for nothing really and still drove back in the bigger truck.

They didn't send a text or email letting me know that my transaction had been closed out. This is substandard operations.

kelly W.Our rental was supposed to be ready by 8am. We arrived at about 8:30am. The truck was not there. We had to drive 11.5 miles to another location to pick it up. On the way to that location, we called the first location and asked if the equipment we reserved (24 moving blankets, box dolly and appliance dolly) would be ready too. He said it depended what equipment they had available at the second location. He did not offer to call or work on the equipment so we called hoping it could be ready when we got there. They only had half of the moving blankets available. When we arrived, the U-Haul desk was inside of an auto mechanic. There was one person working and he said he had to finish an oil change then he would help us. While we were waiting another customer came and bypassed us in the lobby and went to the mechanic to ask for help with his car. The mechanic stopped the oil change to help this customer. About 10 minutes later he finished that and said he still needed to finish the oil change then help us. We finally got checked out around 9:30. When we turned the truck in it was 2 miles over the estimate. They charged us the $2 for the mileage overage. Not a big deal money wise, but ironic given that we had to drive 11.5 miles out of the way to go get the truck because it was not at the right location. The guy at the first location said he saw that it was an issue the day before and put a note in the system, but later he said he owned both locations so we were not sure why he did not get it worked out the day before.

The UHAUL people emailed me and said that the trailer did not get turned in and were going to charge me for 12 days of rental. The drop off place was honest and told them that my story was accurate. Other than that, they are a good location for renting equipment.
