I chose this location because it is close to where I live. That said, it’s pretty rough area and the address was a little hard to locate because the only sign I could finally find is on a building back behind a high fence. My instructions were to call a local number when I arrived in Cincinnati. I did and was told that the drop-off office was closed and that I could simply park the truck on the street and drop the key in the lock box mounted to the fence. I locked the truck’s cab but had no way to lock the back of the truck. I was concerned about any damage that might be done to the truck after I left it, but apparently nothing happened because I got a receipt several hours later in the middle of the night. So maybe I was just being guilty of the same misperceptions of the area that annoy me when people talk about my close-by neighborhood. All’s well that ends well. Just need better sign.

My reservation was moved from a nearby UHaul store to this location and it is a horrible location. There are abandoned cars along the street and it does not feel safe even in the middle of the day. After watching a drug deal across the street from my car I had to go through an approval process after uploading my drivers license forcing me to stay in the area longer than I had to. My license had already been uploaded as part of my reservation at the UHaul store. Once I started the truck, I found that the service engine soon light was on.
Nephi WThey called me the day before to try to get me check in online.. then. The day of they had me change my drop off location which led to Chaos. I don’t know why they want to try to make a deal with the customer in the middle of moving an already chaotic situation. This made my day hell and I don’t appreciate your intentions. So probable the last time I will patronize U-HAUL and I will tell all people I encounter to avoid using them as well

MICHELE EI made a reservation at a different u-haul and my reservation time was changed without my acknowledgement after I received a text stating that the location had a family who needed a trailer. Changed my location to this location and I’m glad they could accommodate my reservation.
Cameron HOur pick up location originally was 1 mile from our house, then it was changed. We understand that happens, but the new pick up location was in an extremely bad part of town and we had trouble with the app and remote pick up so we were there for quite awhile.

KEVIN AThe original location that I booked the UHaul rental was changed two days before our move. At first I was concerned because the location was further away from our apartment than I had hoped. However, the location worked out just fine. The lady at Kitu's was very friendly and helpful, and the check-in went pretty quickly. The 10 foot truck was a 2022 and very clean! The cab was quite comfortable as well.
KIMBERLY SHe wasn’t open at 9am when i got there in the hood when i got out of my Uber. I had to stand out in the hot sun to download the app and go through taking my wallet in and out of my pocket. I didn’t select the app version initially because I didn’t want to do it. I didn’t bring my gun since i thought i would be doing business in a safe place instead of on the out of a gate. I don’t work for you and should not have been forced to do a self check in or pay for another uber to get to another location. The truck would not initially move when i changed gears from drive to reverse. I didn’t leave the location until 10am which delayed my time and cost me money and aggregation with my moving help. I don’t plan to use U-Haul again because of this.

Tayla RYou had me drop a truck off at a random spot in the hood. Had it been a few hours later at night, that’s how people get mugged, carjacked, or shot. Terrible idea.
