The truck was mostly clean, the cargo area was empty and free of debris. The cab was a bit dirty, dusty and not left in a clean (dirt free state). It was acceptable and performed well for the intended purpose. The interior leak from just above the drivers side seatbelt was not a major problem but I was soaked from the left shoulder all the way through my shorts from driving in the rain. Not the worst experience in the world but not entirely comfortable either!

Make sure the tires have the proper PSI and do a lighting check before allowing the customer to drive away. The customer shouldn’t have to finish hooking up a trailer, ask for a lighting check and verify if the tires had been checked while the employee sits in a golf cart.
Dale HFailed to have ordered pads and dolly. Just told me to get them somewhere else. Very poor service.
Craig BEasy rental process, quick and polite service.
ROBERT LStaff was very helpful, very much appreciated.
STEPHEN RThe agent at was amazing. She works alone and she knows her job. Very pleasant personality and professional services!
TIONA GThe working staff does not know what is happening, the front desk is not very friendly, when it came time to deliver the trailer I had to connect it myself and do my own inspection, they put it in a corner and that’s it, very poor service.
MANUEL FWhen I picked up the trailer the gentleman who came out to help didn’t put the chains on correctly. I had to redo them so they wouldn’t drag on the ground. Then I had to put air in the tires when I got home because they hadn’t been checked. Upon returning the trailer the nice lady behind the desk just told me to take the trailer back where I got it. No one came to check the trailer condition or help get it off my hitch. My bad back didn’t like having to lift the trailer off alone. Then a week later I got an email from U-Haul claiming I never returned the trailer! I had to call U-Haul and verify the date and time of the return so that I could get credit for returning a day early.
Dale LLocation primary business was towing yet attendant was pleasant and helpful
James FDay of trailer pickup: The person assigned to help hookup trailer wandered out after a while. He took some pictures, hooked the trailer onto my car leaving the safety chains dragging on the ground, then walked away without a word after checking the lights. I had to redo the safety chains myself and tighten the hitch lock the rest of the way. The trailer tires were low on air and there were cobwebs in it from it being parked in high grass. Day of return: Office person had no idea how to receive the trailer. He told me to use the U-Haul app on my phone. I asked if I should put the trailer back where I got it and he said yes. Nobody came out to inspect or help unhook the trailer. My bad back was not happy having to lift the trailer tongue off my hitch.
Dale LPut washer fluid in vehicle, it was empty
Gary CReturned trailer to original location. No heip from agent who was on phone call related to ojther business. Took four phone calls while I waited. I unhooked and moved. Trailer to safe area still on phone. Tired of being waiting. Just left. l
JIM SNot focused on Uhaul, focused on their towing business. Took phone call for towing customer and worked them while I was waiting, although I was already at desk. Agent told me he would not be there the next day when I returned truck, but to leave it with whoever there and he would return it in the system Monday when he returned to office. On Tuesday that had not been done and I had to call Uhaul to resolve.
Kenneth BOrdered a 20 ft truck, but when I picked it up they gave me a 26 ft. truck which was twice as big as I needed. The truck's engine light came on shortly after pick up. Told to just push on it was probably an air/gas mix issue. Facing an 11 hour road trip like this was unsettling. Also, the truck had 1/8 tank of gas when I picked it up. It had almost 1/4 tank of gas when returned. I took photos of gas gauges before/after. And yet, I was charged $70+ for fuel charges! The only bright spot of this rental were the labor provided through U-Haul. A huge shout out to Jamie Duncan, John Huckabee and Chris Huckabee. These guys were amazing and deserve recognition for their showing up and working really hard.
Patricia TI called at 4pm, got no answer. I dropped it off at 5:30pm.
vicki Nwas done via mobile
carol aAll went well
James CThere was no drop off box and no one to help especially since it says 24 hours on the web site. My overall experience with uhaul was a bit disappointing
Joanne DCheck trailer tires often for flat spots from sitting in one place too long. I had to replace the original rented trailer in Tennessee due to shaking from bad tires.
Dale LPickup and drop-off went very nice and smoothly. Truck felt new and in excellent condition. Would definitely recommend/be back if i needed a U-Haul again.
Erik RWhen I arrived they didn't have my requested truck. They said I had to go to Lady Lake to pick up a truck. That was 12 mile further. I ordered in Fruitland Park. It would have added a lot more miles to the expense of the rental. Kings Towing had a bigger truck I could rent for the quoted price of the smaller truck.
STEVE HI had to wait a long time to pick up the rental and then was informed that the trailer I wanted might not be ready due to a maintenance issue. The issue had been corrected but that information was not immediately available.
Donald HTook 45- to one hour to pick up trailer I normally get tie down straps when I use these trailers……. No straps no nothing dealer was chewing tobacco taking care of someone on the phone towing a dump truck. I had to connect the trailer while dealer was on the phone. When I brought it back I had to disconnect. Had to pay $60.00 for tie down straps I am asking for half my money back $$$$ Dealer tried to charge me more than quoted
allan rTrailer was extremely dirty. Right side tire not very good. Left side tire new. i'm surprised both tires wern't replaced
Dale LDon't change the customer service was phenomenal 👌.
Raul DWell I understand that this is a 3rd party Towing/Repo organization with a Uhaul affiliation and they have their own business to run so they are free to do what they wish. But when the counter guy is spitting tobacco juice into a can at the register that really doesn't put on the image that your looking for I am sure. At equipment pick up time, the tongues of the trailers were just beached into the dirt in an old dirt lot behind the repo lot and I was expected to lift it up onto my tow hitch by hand. Fortunately they sent someone to help me lift it. The equipment looked about 25 years old and looked like they went through a war zone. When I got it hooked up to the tow vehicle, it was only then when I was told that my vehicle was "too new" and the trailers didn't have the 7 pin connectors and I would have to drive with no trailer lights and brake lights to an auto parts store to buy my own adaptor rather than having them on site or NOT sending me out on the road with non street legal equipment putting me liable if something happened. Returning the equipment was equally a joy as well. Just an all around horrible experience. It got the job done but I will never rent from a 3rd party location ever again.
josh rAwesome job, very nice staff and had what I needed . Very clean I would highly recommend using them for renting a Uhaul.
Khristy wThey rented me a trailer that we could not find. The trailer I did take had a uhaul dolly left in it from last user.
ron kVery kind lady.
Kenneth VAll Good
Charles AWe were to return truck in The Villages, FL, we were told (by Uhaul) they have no room to return to Lady Lake, FL, that location we could not locate, we were then told to return to Fruitland, FL (Kling Towing). Upon return of truck to Kling we were advised to park in lot leaving keys inside. I asked if they needed paperwork, she said no! Then I receive a charge of $24.60 for over mileage, 4 miles. Well I had a total of 1057 miles and if she had looked at paperwork at the time she would have seen that. Also why would you charge me as it was Uhauls fault you had us running up and down the road looking for a drop off location. What you can do to improve is receive the customer, check in vehicle with paperwork, settle any disputes on the spot or contact customer before you arbitarily charge a customer. Now I have had to make calls to Kling (who refuse to remove charge), have a call in to Uhaul traffic (Travis) and have not received a call back as of yet. I will call my bank to dispute the charge if not credited back to my account. This is the worst experience I have had with a company as large as Uhaul. You really need to get your act together! I hope you don't treat your employees as bad as you treat your customers! You don't even get a 1 star, I will NEVER use you again!!!!!
Pat PNo one was there on Sunday when I was done with the truck. I just had to leave the truck in the front with the doors unlocked and the key under the front seat. I am also getting harassed about paying for fuel, but the truck had no gas when I got it at the pick up location. Please stop harassing me.
Richard LOriginal pick up location with Guarantee of availability did not materialize…Was redirected to another location for pickup…Was told first to wait for a Attendant who never showed… Then Redirected to another location…Not happy
Jim KThis location was a Junk yard , the car puller hoist was in knots & didn’t operate, the driver set was broken back …Not a good experience !
Anthony FThe weekend return/drop off process was a nightmare. The instructions were completely inaccurate, leaving no way to safely store the truck key and lock. Calling customer service was an absolute joke--hold time was 45 minutes, after which the agent informed me I could return the key Monday morning ( going 20 miles in the opposite direction before work), or call another customer service number for further instructions. U-Haul has failed miserably.
Scott MThe truck was absolutely FILTHY inside and out. I asked why it wasn't cleaner and the attend said we park them under a tree. Thank you captain obvious. I guess they never heard of hose. They location was way of the road and if someone wasn't in another office we would had never found the place.
Stephen GRelocation of the Office was a bit confusing but instructions to call the office upon arrival cleared that up.
DAVID FThe Employee at Klings Towing was hard to locate but when we did find him, he was very helpful with dropping off the equipment and taking the key.
Shamus VThe return location is down a one lane entry way off of the main hwy that is given as the address. There are no signs saying that it is a U-Haul location on the street. I called the number given and they told me where they were located. Even then when I turned off of the road, I wasn't sure that I was in the correct location.
LONNIE WThey guys were great, but office personnel, not so friendly.
JEAN AHorrible experience! I was in tears and completely stressed by the incompetence of the staff.
Diane TNot as friendly but accommodating. I called ahead and was told to see a lady in the back of their lot for check in. I met that lady but she said another lady does the check in but she would not be able to do it right away. She told me to go ahead and leave and they would complete the check in later and send me email verification.
David OThey didn't have the equipment that I reserved
Brian BDropped the trailer off and this location was closed.
Christopher GThere was no personnel. Just a drop off box which was nice.
RONALD FThanks
MELVIN PThe place I turned it In was in the very back of a junk yard. I had to maneuver a 26’ box truck through that mess. After my first rental return there it was never reported to uhaul as the lady said it would be that I properly turned it In. After a follow up call she still didn’t properly report it. I received calls from U-Haul and never got my deposit back. Niiiiiice I hope uhaul finally found there truck.
Darrin SThe only issue I have is the fuel level when I got the truck was at 3/8's when I brought it back they want to charge me for a full tank.
Calvin WWhen we took the uhaul back they helped us and made things quite easy. Was a little hard to find but other the. That it was amazing!
NATHAN DAppreciated all of the help when getting the car trailer. They took the time to make sure everything was right.
Joseph MWould have liked instructions for location if drop off. Telephone book was not very helpful. Need a large add in The Villages phone book to give various locations for drop off. Where we dropped off was not listed and we found by accident driving by.
DEAN RWe have rented 4 uhaul over the past few months and previously used your service many, many times over the years and have always had a great experience up until this last rental. This experience and rental has been the worst customer experience that I have EVER had. If you read through my MANY calls you will understand my frustration. We literally spent over 4 documented hours on telephone calls, 6 hours drive time, had to load and reload the trailer because of unsafe equipment with NO HELP from roadside assistance for TEN DAYS. This is totally unacceptable customer service.
Mark LWe gave them truck keys upon return. I asked if there was paperwork to confirm we returned truck and car carrier. Told no, we would get email. They were just starting to have lunch. After a week or so, we got a call from UHaul asking if we had returned the equipment as Klings did not sign it back in yet. Not good customer service.
ANGELO DAnd i was charged for pads i did not get
Jacob CThe girls were rude and slow took about 45 minutes I never signed any papers. When the truck was brought around the girl didn’t even have me check out the truck for damage I had to ask if I needed to do anything else she got out and just went into the office no communication with me at all
Teresa HThe drop-off location was very difficult to find. No U-Haul sign that we could see (we later found it behind overgrown bushes). The site was a dump - I really don't think u-Haul would approve of this as a drop-off location given its dilapidated appearance. Disappointed for sure.
Natalie AThe phone number provided on rental agreement was no longer in service for this location. I had to unhook as the female attendant did not want to get out of the chair.
Leon MThis location missed checking in the equipment at all! Now I got flagged when renting another trailer. You have really poor customer service and even poorer record tracking. Just to avoid renting from Uhaul again I'll go through the expense of purchasing a trailer. You Suck!
Walter Bturned in on a sunday they were closed, left in front of office and key and contract in drop box, never reported it to u-haul main office that was returned, got a call from another drop-off location asking where rental truck and car carrier were? explained to person that i had dropped off ,all equipment at agreed upon location, then was told they sent me a email that location had been changed while i was in route to new home, duh internet not hooked up until 3 days after equipment turned in, person never called back, that all was ok,so i called person back at location that had asked where u-haul equipment was,and women there said all was ok, she had contacted other location and that equipment was all good, then 6 days later i get a call from head office, asking where equipment is,duh you people don't seem to know what you are doing,e-mail,really,when someone is in route, come on people.
