We were told the day before our reservation that our truck pickup location had to be changed but the two locations offered as an alternate option did not open in time for the movers we had scheduled to come load the truck on moving day. As a result we had to pickup the truck the night before we originally planned to in a location a whole city away. We were given addition mileage for our troubles but we still had to pay for the extra gas required to do that trip. When we arrived at the site to pick up the truck it felt very unsafe. It was located at a tow yard and dogs were barking at us the whole time we were trying to get the mobile pickup figured out. It was so stressful. The site we picked up at didn't have one of the dollies we required for our movers so we had to drive to 3 other locations until we finally found one with dollies to spare. This had to be done the morning of our move when we really needed to be packing up the truck. We have always used UHaul for our moves but between this last minute change to our reservation as well as our terrible experience renting an auto transport trailer three days later we will be looking into alternate options for our next move in a year. The entire experience was incredibly high stress, difficult, and confusing.Don F.

I had reserved a 20' truck at least two weeks early so as to guarantee it would be available at the end of the month. The location was very close to my home. Two nights before the move, I received a call from UHaul saying the truck wasn't available. Then I was told instead of an 8:00am pickup time I couldn't get it until 10 am. That cost me money because my one of my loaders was with me to pick up the truck. However, nobody was at the business. He finally showed up at 11am and by the time we did the paper work and drove to my home it was noon+. Needless to say, I lost four hours of loading time and inconvenienced several other people who were scheduled around the 8:00am pick up time! Sorry UHaul, spent too much money for a botched truck rental fiasco. Won't be using your services again nor recommending you either.sue B.

Uhaul staff on the phone said they extended the contract due to travel in bad weather but was charged for 2 extra days because they did not process in the computer. Showed up to drop equipment off and waited 45 minutes before finding someone in the yard who wouldn't come check the trailer in. I told him I didn't want any problems or extra charges and he assured me he would take care of it. Found out later we were charged an additional $64. Not happy with uhaul service or this location!!!chad J.

Try being friendly and helpful next time and don't schedule drop of before the location even opens, so that way the business operator won't chew me out when I call before hours for drop off.Douglas F.
Probably not the location's or faculty's fault entirely, but I was scheduled to do a drop off at this location an hour before it even opened. When I called, somebody did answer the phone, but he wasn't having helping us even though that's what it was scheduled for. Additionally, the place was very barren and pretty uninviting, what with dust and weeds and whatnot abundant.Joshua F.

Issue I have drop off was outside of the business. No security. After I left there would be no reason why someone couldn't come and take the contents from inside the bed; dolly, returned items, etc. which could possibly come back and haunt me for whatever reason. Ask the customer their location before you give them a pick up point my pick up point was a long ways away from where I was loading and it was only open for a two hour window on a Sunday when I got there it was not even open at 10 AM I had to call them to and wait for them to get thereJoseph S.
