Carol LI was told as long as the truck was brought back on 1/4 of a tank, which is how much gas was in the truck when I picked it up, i would not be charged a fuel fee. The truck was left on 1/4 of a tank, and I was still charged an additional $67 for fuel. I had witnesses who saw the fuel level. I should have took a picture but I did not think I would be taken advantage of in that way. I’m very disappointed and will not trust U-Haul in the future because of this. I already had to pay so many expenses in moving to another city and to be charged additionally when I shouldn’t have, was unfair and disappointing.
TAYLOR PKyle is a butt. Why would I have to pay additional money of 33+ dollars once I had already paid what I beleive to be the rental fee over the phone prior to the pickup? Also, he said that he needed to the card to there at the time of pick up when I had already paid what was expected and told the rep that I would be having the driver to do the pickup. Additionally, he required me to have another person's name on file other than myself and the driver, or he would not be able to release the truck. He has poor customer service, and I do not understand your overpayment practices.
Angela RI was met at the door and the keys were taken. I did not receive any close out paperwork or anything but my card was charged additionally without explanation and the trcuk apparently was not reported being dropped off

DANIEL HThe truck made awful noises the whole time and felt like it was going to break down the whole day. We also said that we didn’t want to rent a dolly or blankets but they put them in the truck in the way so we had to end up breaking the seal for the dolly and paying for it because it took up too much room. In my opinion if someone says they don’t want the items it shouldn’t be in the truck.

MICHELLE KIt would be nice if the trucks/vans were filled up at pick up time. My van was sitting at 1/4 tank, the windshield was dirty, and the sensor was broken on the tire pressure.
MALLESON EI recently rented a U-Haul truck for my move, and overall, I was quite impressed with the experience. The truck was very clean, and it was obviously a newer model. The ride was smooth and comfortable, which made the entire moving process a lot easier. I had no issues with the truck itself — it was spacious, well-maintained, and ran perfectly. However, I did have one unsettling experience. Throughout the day, I noticed that an Apple AirTag tracker was following me. It was tracking my location, and I only realized this after discovering it in the vehicle. This made me feel uncomfortable and a bit unsafe, especially since I wasn’t informed about any such device being inside the truck. I believe customers should be made aware of any tracking devices that might be in the vehicle before they start their rental. Aside from that concern, the truck itself was great, but I do hope U-Haul takes customer privacy into account in the future and addresses these types of issues transparently.

Brooke BI thought I rented the truck for 2 days but they told me no to return the truck and when i returned the truck less then 4 hours they charged me a late fee of a full rate. With out telling me just they charged my card with out them telling me. Bad customer service don’t recommend them for rentals.
