The truck I rented and time I picked it up was based on my returning it before the rental location closed. Since it is close to my home it was the obvious choice. When I received the rental it had not been cleaned based on the dirt in the cab floor and in the cargo bay. We loaded the vehicle and I discovered that it would not start. I opted for Safemove coverage and called Uhaul. The repair facility that was called took almost an hour to get to my location. The service tech discovered that the battery was dead and it was the original battery with the vehicle having over 70,000 miles on it. He had to leave to obtain a replacement battery and that took another hour plus. All in all I was almost 3 hours late returning and the location was closed so I had to wait till morning to return it. I feel that Uhaul owes me something for this unexpected impedance to my schedule.James C.
Pick up location was great in providing the service we needed in having what we needed. One trailer did not have operational driving lights and we let them know and they took great care of us to get a replacement.Bruce A.
I ordered a truck from a specific location. I got a text the morning of the rental that I was scheduled to pick up the truck at a different location. I figured the text was sent in error so I went to the original location and the truck was not available. I then realized why I got the text, however the text did not explain that the truck was not available at the original location. The text needs to explain why the location was changed.Kevin W.

Showed up at 730am to return truck. Around 8am, a women who worked at the place showed up. I indicated I was returning the truck bug the woman said she want not going to open up her office for another 1/2 hour even though the place supposed to be open by 8am M-F. So, I gave her the truck key without getting anything from her, such as a receipt for returning the vehicle on timeTimothy D.

They didn't have the equipment I reserved so I had to go to a different UHaul to pick up the additional items necessary for the move. UHauls policy for cross country one way moves SUCKS!!!!!!! Having to drive 20 miles to pick up a 26 ft truck while multiple UHaul dealers closer had the same truck is just STUPID!!! If I ever move again I will do my best to avoid UHaul.Greg G.

Since I can't rate U-Haul Corporate, I'll have to settle for average for both pick up and drop off locations. If I could rate corporate, it would be one star across the board. The issues with my rental had nothing to do with the local franchises, and everything to do with U-Haul corporate's disorganization and focus on everything except it's core business, renting trucks. I will not be using U-Haul again.Tony E.
The truck was obviously used for transporting garbage and not cleaned between renters. It smelled horrible and was filthy. There were no blankets, and we were charged for them.James M.

The online drop off online system was again atrocious. It took us 30 minutes to get the app to take us to the proper screen instead of rerouting us back to the home profile page. You changed my location from Great Mills to Mechanicsville which I would not have known I just check the text I got the day before saw the change. Need to contact people with changes this added miles to my trip which cost me more money and gas use. The place I ordered from was only five miles from the college the place I picked up was over twenty mile away.Donna W.
I schedule my pick up and drop off so l can do it in-person, not thru an app or online. Kurtzs auto repair was closed and not available by phone, so l had to do mobile drop off and it was much more time consuming and it was a hassle. I would prefer if UHAUL knew when places would be closed or unoccupied so l could plan accordingly.Daniel K.
I rented a truck for a one bedroom and I also rented a trailer the trailer was find,the truck was too small and I had to give away some of my furniture, also I had to fly to Florida because the truck was a two seater and it was three of us, so I am very disappointed and expect a refund for the truck and my plane ticket and also the gas it cost my daughter to pick me up from the airport, which is an hour and 15 mins away.Tina D.
