I did not intend to rent from this location. I reserved a truck from a different location but was told that the truck was not available at that location and that this was the closest location. I told U-Haul that I was willing to take a different vehicle but was not given an option to switch vehicles. The communication was terrible. There was no office to check out at and I was shown the contract on a cell phone. The website said the truck was $19.99 but I was charged double and I was also charged for insurance which I did not agree to. I was charged for 30 miles but I only drove 15 miles. I would have driven much less if I could have received a vehicle from the location I originally reserved it from. I was told that I had to return the trunk by 5pm to avoid being charged for an extra day. However, no one was there when I returned the trunk and I had to leave the key in a lock box so there was no reason to drive the truck through downtown LA during rush hour. I am very disappointed with this service.
