When we arrived at the pickup location the person in the store told us we needed to go to the other store. Then she said to call the lady. We had no idea what she was talking about. We then received a call from someone saying we were on 24 hour pickup but the app did not reflect that. Cell service was poor and this took several phone calls. They said they would meet us there. When they got there, she couldn’t check us in and had to call someone else. I did the pickup over the phone, on her phone that had poor sound and no speaker phone available. When we finally got in the truck, it was completely empty and we were forced to get overpriced gas in a tiny town miles from the freeway. When the pickup location was changed the day before I didn’t realize it was on the far outskirts of the town I was told we would be picking up in. The experience overall was awful.

The location is an old abandoned market. The U-Haul rep totally messed up our drop off location. There isn’t really any cell service out there because it’s about 15 miles from any real town. Very poorly run.
