Just prepare them for all you need to do to check in at vehicle pick-up … using your phone to take pictures of the rental vehicle, etc through an app.

Vehicle was left dirty and windshield wiper was broken other then that experience was good and the customer service reps on the phone were excellent.
Pete RThrough no fault of the location, I had a very frustrating experience. My reservation was converted to a 24/7 reservation that appeared to have required the app, without asking me, and this was referred to as an “upgrade.” It took 40 minutes for my confirmed reservation to be ready for me to use the truck, and required a call to customer service by the worker at the counter. I did not want to use the app and had uploaded all the information requested at the time of the reservation, yet I had to do all of that a second time, standing in a gas station, as well as installing the app I did not want. I had reserved the truck for eight hours, and received a notification at 6 hours that my truck was due soon, and that I’d need to fill the tank or be subject to a fuel surcharge, with no indication of what that surcharge would be per gallon. This felt deceptive. I was late to an appointment because of the delays at pickup, yet I was expected to return my truck at the time I’d chosen at reservation. The poor clerk at the gas station had to resolve my problems as well as helping the other customer having the same issues at pickup. I had to install an app I had no interest in, in a hurry. Again, this had nothing at all to do with the location, but it did not make me want to use U-Haul again.
Katherine WPoor set up. No bathroom available. Rentals agent is behind bullet proof glass. Rental agent is very hard to hear. You can't get a paper receipt. A poor experience overall!

paola nWas not informed of the up charge in mileage, I reserved the box truck at $.89 a mile and was charged $1.19 a mile. I unfortunately went 40 minutes over the time I reserved and was charged a whole other rental charge. Not only that the receipts I have gotten were so confusing I went to the BP for an explanation because it looked like I was overcharged but they couldn’t do anything for me… I have went through uhaul before for a rental and have never experienced this before, I was always informed by the owners and had a pleasant experience. I am not turned off by uhaul and will not be a returning as a customer.

John MThe Truck was great and well maintained But we had some trouble with reserved equipment. We ordered moving blankets, 1 furniture dolly and 1 standing dolly. The dollys were NEVER supplied, and the blankets were not cleaned or folded in the bags as advertised. I was not happy with the outcome of the equipment not being available at all. Please DO NOT advertise these as an option if the supplies needed are not going to come with the truck. The woman who helped us at this location was very kind and professional.
DJ LWhen I went to pick up my rental, the clerk told me I do not have a truck because there was a problem with it. Seeing another truck in the lot, I asked why I couldn't have that one since I placed my online rental 6 days prior. She said someone already rented it for later in the day. After 10 mins of conversation, she rented me the truck anyway. The truck was dirty in the cab and the back. I only put 22 miles on the truck and dropped off 6+ hrs earlier than I said I would. My online agreement said my mileage was to be .89 per mile. Once I actually received my mailed receipt, they charged me $1.19 per mile. I went back but the person I spoke with wasnt there. How do I get the mileage charge corrected?

Gary STook forever to get approved which was not advertised ahead of time. I would’ve arrived earlier if I knew. Also it was not clear where to get the keys
Lindsey AI had a huge issue with returning my truck. Waited on the phone for 1hr at the drop off location due to the issue. Drop off location was different then what was told and on agreement. Had to wait in gold for over 1hr to get it fixed on a very stressful moving day!! Very stressful very disorganized and everyone tells you something different. I will think about this if I need to use your services again.

Kaiser MI was told .79 per mile but charged 1.19 per mile After making the reservation in person I was called at work twice and told I would have to go to another location which I found unacceptable I reserved at that location specifically for the convenience of not driving further The truck itself needs maintenance. It had a check engine light and ran VERY rough
Nicole STruck was not very clean. It took 2 days to receive a receipt because the location did not close out my rental when I returned it. Upon returning, I asked several times if there was any paperwork I needed to complete and was firmly told 'no' and that my receipt would be emailed soon. I needed to reach out to customer service to get one. Will not rent from this location in the future.
Sean SI reserved the 10' truck, but it wasn't available and didn't learn about it until I was there to pick it up. At first, the counter person tried to get me to pay more for a 15'. The counter person then called someone who modified the account to give me the 15' for the same price as the 10'. I only drove 14 miles and put $5 of gas in the vehicle, getting it to where it had been, but you still charged me $15 for gas. That's BS and makes me very mad.
Wayne SI needed two dollies cause I was moving and ordered them on the website but the location did not have any. How am I supposed to move furniture with out them???

Clara HTire pressure was low and hard to read the odometer. But other than that. Fine we only needed the rental for less than 10 miles.
