The truck broke down in the middle of the trip to move. Customer support was horrible. It was right up there with one of the most difficult times in my life trying to actually talk to someone that can help there is impossible. The truck had to be towed by Uhaul to my location and it caused me serious delays. I had to hire movers that cost $408 because the people I had helping before were delayed and couldn’t help because of schedule. Not once did any representative offer to help in any way. Every representative who called back after each time I reached out for assistance didn’t know what was going on with where the truck was located, what happened, etc. Overall the lack of communication and lack of empathy was appalling. I hate that this happened, I have used Uhaul before and had no issues. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this transaction. Oh, and not only did the truck break down, but I also had a trailer that I rented with the truck that I ended up having to tow with my own vehicle and was charged a late fee for returning it. It’s amazing to me that Uhaul even functions with what I experienced. I would hope Uhaul will make all this right but I am not holding my breath.

david sA customer coming to La Plata Missouri has to realize the nature of a small town. It is a very cool old hardware store that also carries lumber and paint. The location of this drop off is really and truly a blessing. It is literally 3 to 4 blocks from my house that I just purchased. The guys that check the trailers in and make sure everything is in order, really nice guys they know customer service and are really kind about getting all the paperwork cleaned up I’d recommend these guys to anybody and everybody.
