The customer service was excellent. The truck on the other hand was absolutely filthy inside and out. We couldn't drive further than the first service station to stop and clean the windows and mirrors. The windows were cleaned inside and out. The trucks tires on the front were well worn on the inside. The trailer tires looked funny to me. After we loaded my jeep I knew why. Low tire pressure. I've used u-haul many times in the past but never had problems like this. Hope the next person has better luck.

Had to make a U-Haul account to return the vehicle after hours. The basic webpage could not locate the facility. tested on both Iphone and Android systems, highly frustrating. Location is owned by LaBarre but is actually a candy shop next to a off-road vehicle rental facility.

I called this U-Haul location two days in advance to explain that I would be dropping off the trailer after hours. The young woman was very kind initially and said no problem. She would meet me there to help me unhitch. All I needed to do was call. She would drive over. On the Saturday June 13 when I was ready to bring back the trailer, I called at 12:48 pm (12 minutes BEFORE CLOSING), she didn't answer. I was only driving 3 minutes from my storage unit to the drop off site. She did not return any of my three phone calls asking for help. I arrived at the drop off location at 1:02 pm. TWO minutes after closing. Doors were locked. She was gone. I used my car jack to lift the trailer off the hitch. It worked great. But I still wish the attendant would have returned my calls.

I did not like the notice that I got telling me that my contract had been switched over to a phone reservation That was very confusion and disturbing. I found out later it was an option I was quite upset over that e mail. Other than that it was a good experience

The check out process was not made clear and never discussed with us. When I called, prior to rental, to see if there was anything I should know about the rental process since we would be dropping off after hours, no one called me back. Then I was charged an “after hours fee” because I didn't correctly complete the check out process. When I called customer service to discuss the circumstances, it was not well received and the customer service representative kept repeating “it's in your contract!” Not a good experience overall. The truck itself worked fine and did exactly what we needed.

My entire rental experience was the absolute worst I have ever had with uhaul. The experience cannot be placed solely on the young man helping me. It was a calamady of misinformation even from the main uhaul phone line. I would only recommend this place because there isn't competition close by.

The hand truck I rented was not in the truck and there was no one on premise for assistance. I still haven't received word if they are refunding that part of the rental. Checking out online and checking back online in was not convenient.

My quote was adjusted due to a minor adjustment on gas. It was 3/4 tank and i made sure it was that. Also the mileage was off and i feel it was misquoted as I did not go 22 miles. I was over charged for the services and was not accommodated for.

Would like to see you have a larger selection of boxes. I needed mirror and wardrobe boxes but was not available at this location. These boxes are so necessary when we move . I am having to go to another location to buy these boxes. Otherwise my experience was excellent. Thank You I will be using and recommending you again.

Signage to entrance directs customers away from entrance to the side of the building. Saturday hours need to be expanded to allow access later than 1:00 pm

Both tires were bad. I had to go to a service center in Colo. Springs on Sunday to get both tires replaced which took 4 hours of my time. The guy in Woodland Park told me he checked out the trailer and everything was good.

They tried to rent me a clearly dilapidated trailer with rusted lugs, mismatched and badly worn tires. Improve the equipment or restrict it to local moves; I needed it for a move of over 1300 miles.

Some car trailer tires blew out on the way and had some difficulty getting in contact with U-haul roadside assistance at the number on the website so I got a large repair shop that I was near at the breakdown location to replace the bad tires. Jack Schrock, the manager of the dropoff U-haul facility helped me get in contact with the right U-haul people to get reimbursed for the tires and I was. Jack was very helpful and friendly and knew what he was doing.

I was extremely displeased; knowing that I may need to truck for an extra day or two I enquired whether I should book and pay for the extra days and get a refund if I did not use the extra days or whether I should "amend" my booking when I knew that I needed the extra days. I was advised to do the latter. As it turns out I did need the extra days and I did try to extend the booking a day before but they unable to accommodate me, but fortunately I managed to hire a truck from another location! Extremely inconvenient and costly to make this kind of change.

20" van I picked up should not have been on the lot for rent. I didn't make it 150 miles before the inside left rear tire blew apart. I spent 2-hours waiting on the side of the interstate for a tire repair person. Once there he showed me the tire was 4-years old. The tread was a worn badly and it as well as all tires were overinflated to 100lbs psi. The tire man said they should have been inflated to between 75-85lbs. psi. He corrected all of the tires inflation on the van as well as the auto transport. They too were at a minimum of 10lbs overinflated. The van also needed a front end alignment. I fought this for 800miles.
