Woman at location who helped me was fantastic, kind and helpful.
Erik LThe person was not there to receive the truck back and that is what I requested. So we spent a lot of time trying to get into the facility. The lock to get in was incorrect or not even given, so I had to call UHaul to get a code for gate. A lot of aggravation to return the truck.

Brent HI had to call a Uhaul representative to get into this location because I was 45 minutes late. The "30 minute window" does not make sense for a uhaul pickup and I was never made aware that I was going to be unable to get my truck if I did not make this window. I then had to fill out a lot of verification / demographic information before getting my truck that really should have been asked far before I was sitting in the cold outside the storage facility. Extremely frustrated.

Michael LNo indication a gate code would be needed for pick up. Took way too long to get approved to get the additional code for the key. Got stuck inside after returning the vehicle, luckily wife was on the other side and put the gate code in. The "1" on the inside was not working. The lady who verified the second phone number to my wife was extremely rude. Customer service with her was terrible, tone of voice and didn't even properly say goodbye. Her name may have been Lashaunda.

Florence HBut not after hours. The website did not work on the return and I spent an hour with customer service to have to wait for the location to finalize the bill to see if it was correct. Otherwise the check in was great.

kyle KMake sure that all the safety features work properly on the vehicle. The windshield washers were not working and I had to pull over numerous times to pour water on the window so I could see in traffic.

ALEKSANDER SVery unhappy with U-Haul. The day of our reservation we received a call stating that we could not pick up our truck from the location where we had reserved it, Instead, we had to drive 45 minutes in the opposite direction to get the truck. This added a lot of extra time to our planned trip. U-Haul gave us a $50 discount and some miles to cover the added trip. However, U-Haul dinged us for extra mileage they claimed we used. Will not rent from them again.
SCOTT FThey said to have the uhual dropped off by 8am but they are closed until 10am. It's a locked facility soooo I'm not sure how that's gonna work. It was very inconvenient and they should either open up or give people returning uhauls a temporary gate access code.

I reserved a truck at the other Antioch location but when there was a mechanical issue witht the truck, they proactively arranged for me to go to the other Antioch location on Anita. I experienced no disruption and was impressed with how this was so well managed. I do think mileage costs are high.

The staff were very kind and helpful at Lake County Storage of Antioch. Their service was fabulous! I would definitely recommend this location to others!
Teresa SUHaul scam on fuel: the recommended refueling chart supplied by UHaul is off by 50%, thus UHaul benefits from more fuel at the customer's expense. Example: they show 9.5 gallons needed to go from 1/8 to 3/8 on the fuel tank gauge and it took me under 6 gallons. I would have paid an extra $12 in gas if I had followed it.

MARGARET FI had a flight to catch after the drop off could not find anyone on location, because there was no one and it was at 3;30 after lunch couldn't get threw the gate, finally a customer was trying to get in and i went behind him after numerous phone calls, then had the nerve to charge my debit card .80 for mileage searching for a # for someone to let me in. And first of all before I began I called to confirm my reservation "lucky" I did because the person couldn't find it because I upgraded my laptop to windows 10 and couldn't get my conformation # well here's the conformation # that u-haul couldn't find 24979824 check the date, so disappointed. I had to go way out of my way to pick up this truck #1, #2 no one was there for drop off, and then charged me .80 on my debit card for mileage, not very happy, caused me to go over on my account, 35.00 that I just closed .

SAM RI was told Sunday pick up was not available, only to fin out it actually was and I paid for a motel room and waited till Monday to get my rental from the dealer, in the same exact parking lot where I could have gotten it on Sunday. I was then charged for two days rental for a 5 hour trip. not to mention the extra insurance when I already had 300,000.00 of rental insurance threw my business. for being over charged and wasting my time sitting in a motel room for an entire day, I was offer a 30.00 certificate from u-haul. REALLY? it cost me 42.00 for the motel, 30.00 insurance and approx: 30.00 for the extra day's rental. so you tell me if I had a good experience with u-haul or not. the original dealer that was supposed to have my item, was a total jerk and couldn't be bothered to take care of me. then I was sent to another building in the same parking lot to get my item from a DIFFERENT dealer. what the hell is that all about ? and then I find out the the second dealer has Sunday hours/.
RANDALL SThis location was very helpful. The reservation system was not. I made the reservation in advance and the day before the move, I find the location and pickup time different. Thanks to Lake county's help we were able to work through things. This added to much stress to the already stressful move.
