I am very disappointed by the poor coordination regarding my rental. On Saturday, April 11, 2026, I rented a 20-foot moving truck at one location and was instructed to return it to a different site. When I returned it on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 10:55 AM, I was charged approximately $245 for dropping the rental truck off at a different location—even though I was simply following the instructions I had been given on Saturday to return it to the assigned alternative site. I called to file a formal complaint and request a refund, as what they have done to me is completely unfair. Furthermore, when I returned the truck on Sunday, I asked if there was anything else I needed to do; I was simply told, "Just leave the key, and you're free to go." Had they assisted me properly at that time, this issue could have been resolved on the spot; however, they failed to do their job correctly in assisting me. I am not satisfied with the service I received, and I would like your assistance in recovering my money. I am still waiting for a call from a supervisor, but I have yet to hear from anyone. LOUIS KMy overall experience with UHaul broadly was awful, in the my reservation pickup was change the day before and then the location didn't have all the products in my order (which I blame on UHaul, not them). Don't send me to people that don't have what I need to accomplish my task. Very poor communication and coordination with their representatives, and this is the second time this has happened in the last 2 months. I will look for any other options before using UHaul again.
