Not really happy because I reserved a truck at Cobb auto in Saint Albans vt and when I went to pick it up it wasn't available. They called around and I had to go 30 minutes out of my way to Enosburg vt to pick up a truck. And I still had to pay full price. I feel that I should have gotten some sort of discount considering it wasn't my fault.Clifford N.

Went to 2 locations closer to me in the St. Albans area one was out of trucks the other was not interested in even looking to see if anything was available, she was just too busy I guess so I left. The only drawback was that this location was 30 miles out of my way. I had to drive past my destination to pick up the truck, drive back to my house, load up and then drive back to my destination. There were apparently no other trucks available? Otherwise, an excellent experience, particularly the people staffing the location.peter M.
Lady gave us incorrect information. She said that our $100 deposit would be returned to us at the Milton, VT location at drop off as long as we had our paperwork with us. This was not the case. Turns out the $100 had to go back on my husband's debit card which takes 3-5 days. Other then that, it was an over all good experience. The people we dealt with were nice and polite.CRYSTAL G.
Having a clip or hook for the door to be held shut would be my only advice. On bumpy roads it tends to come undone. (twice for me)Tiffany J.
The parking lot is a mud puddle and when I drove the truck a huge deluge of water came out of the overhead lining drenching my legs. The owner now knows about the truck leak, but that driveway needs serious work. I could not find the lockbox and it was fortunate the owner was there to complete the transaction. The uhaul I reserved was not there when I went to pick it up. They let me use one much smaller than I needed( it ended up taking me three trips to move) so of course I went over the 75 mile limit... I'm now being told I'm going to be charged extra because of that too.Stephie G.

When the customer discusses an issue with finding equipment at the designated reservation pickup not having the equipment that you reserved so you go-to another uhaul. And no discount on equipment given but no needed.CAMERON W.

Truck was dirty and engine full of very long pine needles. Needed to return to have two quarts of oil added before heading out. Then truck difficult to steer and eventually difficult to shift from park. Called for service and TWO engine wires required replacing. This is a difficult location for some one who does not tow very often to back into the storage lot. The staff were very helpful in setting up the trailer for tow and in backing the trailer into the storage area when I returned the trailer. The storage area was wet and muddy,edward M.

1. We were told we would not be charged until we dropped off the truck. Our online statement reflected a pending random charge prior to drop off. 2. We were told the milage was .76 cents per mile. The contract we received indicated the milage cost was .99 cents per mile. 3. There was no one qualified at the location to process our transaction when we dropped off the truck.SHEQHINAH C.

Over all there was nothing that I could even begin to complain about. I went in without a reservation, and Mr LaRose came in from home to take the time to rent me the truck. Above and beyond the call of duty.ROSS M.

My boyfriend returned our Uhaul to this location, and described the person that checked him out as confused. He said that he wanted to pay the balance (we went 4 miles over our given miles) with his card, but she told him it HAD to go on the card on file. This seemed strange to me when he told me this because the card in file was my mother's credit card. She had paid for the Uhaul as a moving gift with the expectation that we would pay any additional fees. She was not present to authorize the additional payment to her card. Luckily the additional charge wasn't much, and it won't be a problem, but being that she wasn't there to okay this payment, it seemed like it should not have been charged to her card! He also said that the person that checked him out took the receipt back, so he didn't get a copy of a receipt for having returned the truck. Like I said, he thought this person seemed confused, so maybe it was not something this person had much experience with, but it seems like paying with a different credit card, and getting a receipt of the transactions are pretty standard. I just hope there are no problems with the billing on my mother's account, because like I said, we have no receipt to use to dispute possible mischarges.SAMANTHA P.
