I got a call, as I was supposed to, to confirm my pickup time and location the day prior to my scheduled pickup. I expressly asked the person on the phone if I was then all set to pick up my UHaul the following day, and they said yes. When I arrived to do a mobile pickup, and the app would not even show me the button that allows you to pick up the truck, I called support and (after being put on hold 3 times) was told the location did not, in fact, confirm the scheduled pickup. Once we finally got into the truck (45 minutes after my scheduled pickup time), we found the furniture pads we had purchased were not there. The refund also was not initiated automatically; we had to ask another UHaul employee while we were returning the truck later in the day at a different location to initiate the refund. A terrible experience on top of the high stress of moving out of city.
