We made a reservation for a 10' truck, at 10:00am Saturday July 19th, and it was a guaranteed reservation. We arrived exactly at 10:00am, and was told by the woman working that the 10' truck had just been rented out minutes before to another customer and they no longer had it available. I explained that I had a guaranteed reservation, but was told by the shop owner that I was going to have to cancel my reservation and rebook a 15' truck (from my phone because the woman did not know ow how to use the company's computer) because that was all they had available. When I tried to make that reservation for the 15' truck the location showed as "unavailable". The woman working again called the shop owner to ask for help, and he said he would be at the shop to sort everything out at 10:45am. For the next 2.5 hours we were given the run around by both the woman working and the shop owner...both continued to say "I will be at the shop in 15 minutes". The owner apparently drove to an entire different location to get our truck, rather than just referring us to the location who had the truck. The owner also claimed to be taking so long because he was fixing another customers contract...we finally got our rental at 1:00pm. 3 hours after our reservation. We drove from out of state and had to wait around with a newborn because both the woman employee and owner had no idea what they were doing. This was truly rhe worst UHaul experience I have ever had.
