STEPHANIE BI am thankful for Uhaul over the many years of my need but they have been surpassed in customer service and fleet expectations. The 29.99 rate jumped to $125 pretty quickly for my rental needs of (originally) driving 2 hours total. I am willing to live with just the rate difference, combine this with the strong cigarette smell left me disappointed. I work for a religious institution that requires me to meet with the public on a daily basis. The day of my rental there was also a funeral with expectations that I would speak with hundreds of people. Not only was the foul odor a surprise, it was a major inconvenience requiring me to shower and change clothes with VERY limited time to do so. I have found a better and more consistent experience/value with Lowes rental. Please understand I'm not being harsh but truthful in kindness. Thank you!
