As someone that used rent, U-Haul trucks and trailers third-party. It was very disappointing to find out that the truck was empty of any blankets or the dollies as requested. I understand that these items are not always readily available as specially the dollies are based on what is dropped off or taken previously. A phone call or notification would have been nice or at least a note in the van as this was something that was needed. Also, the locks on the lockbox is were difficult to open. They might want to add some WD-40 or something.

Online Apple Maps hours are listed as opening at 8 am. They were not open. I couldn’t get truck for 8am. If I was able to check in on uhauls site, which I wasn’t, I would have had to wait to get the dolly and pads. I was not allotted enough miles to complete my trip without paying extra.

Horrible experience. The dealer said they close at 5. We left work early to be there by 4:30 snd they were closed. They live next door. I called and he said download the app and use the lockbox. The app is difficult. . You have to take cellphone photos of everything. Including your drivers license. The only saving grace was the people on the phone at Uhaul customer service who helped me. It was a very long wait in the queue to get someone but once I got an agent they were very patient with a 70 year old woman navigating a long app process. Never again at this location. Uhaul should close this site to save your reputation in this little town.
