The cruise control on the van would only engage ocasionally.
Steven LWe showed up at opening time, 10h, on May 3rd. We had reserved online for a 10h pickup. There was a lineup. We were 4th in line and it took us 50 minutes to get to the attendant!! He was very professional and adequate, absolutely nothing to say against him. He made sure to connect us with another attendant who could do our checkout over the phone and that was done in 5 minutes. Perfect. We needed our truck for 10h, we were able to leave with it at 11h. Not good. Among other things, the branch attendant had to perform the truck returns before he was able to rent them out again. SUGGESTION: The returns should have been dealt with BEFORE opening the branch. He was also dealing with 2 complicated inquiries (over 20 minutes each) while 2 of us were just picking up. SUGGESTION: simple pickups from online reservations (like we did) could be dealt with in priority, maybe over the phone like the attendant organized, to free him up for inquiries or complex situations
Suzanne BMy order was changed 2 days before, became a split contract (which I have no idea why because it was cancelled) - and that original phonecall was a headache. There was nearly 2 hour delay in picking up my u haul between this and your customer service reps being unbelievably rude via chat. Discredited my very valid driver's license. I cannot even begin to explain the depth of the inconvenience and frustration with this whole pick up process.

adele nMy trailer was still buried in snow and I needed a small trailer to pick up a wood chipper. I was surprised that a small trailer with a ramp was only $25.00. That's a deal and the Aylmer QC dealer is only 10 minutes away. I may sell my trailer as I only use it a couple of times a year. Pick up was fast as I booked on line. Showed my drivers license and the dealer attached the trailer for me.When I returned I dropped the trailer in the yard and the dealer met me outside (saved me checking back in at the desk). The invoice was in my email inbox when I got home. Can't get better than that.
John STruck was dropped off the night before it was due and keys put in drop box. I received a call the next day advising I was late returning the vehicle even though they saw the truck there. The person I spoke to said he didn't know where it had come from. Perhaps the late night drop off process could be a little clearer.

Jimmy PA few things about this pickup were unnecessarily difficult. There was over six inches of ice and snow on the windshield that took nearly 40 minutes of idling and scraping to remove. The vehicle was not equipped with a snow/ice scraper leaving me scrambling. I feel that I shouldn't have to clean week old ice from a rental vehicle. Vehicles really should be ready to go. The lockbox wasn't anywhere near the area where the vehicles were located and there was no signage directing you to the lockboxes. The boxes have metal padlocks that were frozen stuff, my fingers immediately stuck to the frozen metal. The type of lock used is very difficult to access. The U-Haul app is poorly designed and was frustrating to complete the check-in. Overall this was the worst experience I have had with U-Haul.
Sabrina BThe day after, I came to bring back the truck. I would have gone through the online checkout, but as the employees at the previous location did not mark the gas level correctly, even though I put in back the correct amount of gas that the truck actually had when I got it, the application wanted to charge me 37$ more. I cancelled my online checkout and went inside to speak to someone at this location. I showed him the proof with pictures of the gas level when I left (a mile after leaving), with the location, the odometer and the time, along with my rental receipt with all of those information, all being a few minutes apart and 1.5 mile. The employee understood and was super helpful in fixing his peers' mistakes, to not charge me any gas amount I did not have to pay. I would recommend this location, everything went well here.

Luckily the owner of the rental location arrived and was able to complete my booking. The service provided by the owner was beyond excellent.

DMYTRO DBug with the app + team member hasn't prepared the key for the 24h pick up. My reservation was scheduled from 7am to 1pm but only got the truck at 9am and still had to return it for 1pm for another customer. Wasn't able to complete my moving and that will cost me another truck.
Marc-Andre DI have used your equipment in the past and I have always had amazing service. However, I used in this instance for the first time your app to return the equipment. Let me say that the app is subpar. Upon return after the business's hours of operation, I was required to take and upload pictures, so far reasonable and expected. Despite granting all approval to the U-Haul App on my phone, each "picture" to be upload needed to be taken between 5 to 10 times - as if the app did not recognize it been taken and was stuck in a loop. What should've been a quick return process became a 30 minutes ordeal. Please fix your app.

Manquait une couette de fil, nous avons dû en prendre d'une autre remorque, après avoir demander à un employé, car il en avait pas de rechange dans la salle d'équipements. Les attaches de sécurité sur les chaines (safety hooks) ne sont pas adapté pour des voitures qui ont un plus gros équipement de hitch (2 pouces). Nous avons dû déboursé pour des attaches chez un autre fournisseur. Mais sommes toutes, le services est bien et le produit en bonne condition.

Monick AI want to submit a complaint because I was charged for gas in my final bill ($17.85) even when I had put more gas than what was there when I received the truck (I received the truck with half the tank and I returned with a little bit above half tank). When I spoke to the clerk about this charge, he said he couldn’t do anything about it. This is why I am submitting my complaint, and I would like to be contacted at 819-962-89 to get my reimbursement. Thank you.
