There was no one at the location that knew how to rent trucks when I arrived. I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to show up. They tried to tell me that they didn't have the truck I ordered even though there was one sitting in the parking lot. I had to call U-Haul 2 or 3 times before the issue was resolved and they "found" the truck. I received the truck with a floorboard full of potato chip crumbs. When I got to my loading location, I pulled out the ramp and found it caked with some sticky substance which was also oddly slippery, maybe it was spilled detergent that dried. The return was reasonable.

The location had no AC so it was hot and terrible. The person in charge of the U-haul could barely speak english, and overcharged us 75.00 dollars for something we did not ask for. The truck was decently cleaned, had weeds in the drivers floor board. Once we got going and loaded up, the people that were following me said something was wrong with the tires but when we stopped and could not tell what it was and could not refill the air in the back tire, we had to continue on. We went from Corning CA to Burns OR with a flat inner tire. Les Schwab fixed it. Imagine if that would have blown!!!

It is part of a liquor store & when picking up & returning truck, I had to wait in the middle of each transaction because the staff waited on liquor store customers. Also they left the truck for us to pick up in an open, overgrown weed patch. No customer service at all!! Took over half an hour to return truck. Also was overcharged by U-Haul!! I was charged for a utility dolly & 6 moving blankets!! I did not have those things!! I tried to deal with the 1-800 number, which leaves a horrible impression to someone who worked customer service for over 30 years!! Doubt I will use U-Haul ever again & I will let others know my experience was pitiful!!!

I needed 20 ft truck in orland ca but couldn’t get one. Only available in Corning ca. When I got there they don’t have the 20 ft truck only 26 ft available. I could have gotten the 26 ft truck in orland Didn’t have to wasted more gas and more mileages and got charge for 26ft which I didn’t need. While I was there the guy kept on talking with his friend for over half an hour and made me wait I didn’t have a choice but wait cause I needed the Damm truck. Overall just bad experience I had with uhaul
