When I went to pick up the trailer I waited for 20 minutes to for someone to come to the desk to help me. There were employees around and none of them were willing to help me. The location is quite sketchy in general. It did not feel safe inside. When I went to drop it off the experience was better.
ANDREW GThe tires and hitch were in good condition. There was, unfortunately, no Jack available to lift the heavy tongue onto our hitch. The man who usually looked after the U-haul was gone for the day. The remaining staff were extremely reluctant to help us get it hooked onto our vehicle. We had to go back and ask for help twice. The inside of the cabin was filthy with garbage and a LOT of greasy ashes and cigarette butts. It stunk VERY badly. We swept it out and I sprinkled 3 boxes of baking soda evenly over the floor and we left it open overnight to air out. Swept it out the next day. The baking soda helped the strong odor of old, greasy ashes. The color of the b.s. was dark grey as it removed some of the filth stuck on the floor as well.
John RThe staff was not there when I showed up at 9 am. The trailer looked like someone was living in it and was smoking and tried to start fire with cigarette packages.
SCOTT GWhen my boyfriend showed up to pick the trailer up it was covered in snow and no assistance was offered to help (snow storm) also when i was in the day before to check that the trailer was there and ready to go for the next day I waited awhile before anyone showed up at the front desk.

ADEKUNLE AI spent 45 minutes at this location during my pick up. At first, the Dealer was indicating that my tow vehicle wasn't a match for the 6' x 12' trailer and the system was generating an error code. At that point, the dealer told me we couldn't proceed with the rental. I was in from Timmins to pick up this trailer and this was my last option to get a trailer for my needs. In any case, I asked the Dealer to call corporate to resolve the issue and the Dealer had indicated that he had been through this before with no resolution. About 10-15 minute wait, the Dealer was issued some code to proceed with the billing. Then, the billing rate was not correct as promised over the phone (I had reserved at 5' x 8' trailer but it wasn't available, so a 6' x 12' was offered at the same rate). Furthermore, the Timmins location was not open on a Saturday (the day I needed the trailer) and hence I was offered a free day because I was picking up on a Friday (~2:30pm). None of these were noted in my reservation, according to this Dealer. Back on the phone we go, another 20-30 minutes waiting whereby all I'm told is that I will get credited later. The Dealer hands me a piece of paper and says "the trailer is parked beside the RV out back". He doesn't come out back with me to assist or anything. As I hook up the trailer, I noticed that one of the tires on the trailer looked low. Hence, I stop at a local gas station to find that the tire had 20 PSI whereby it should have max 65 PSI. The experience at this Dealer was terrible. Professional etiquette is not practice and I say this because the one individual was wearing a muscle shirt, shorts and flip flops. Probably not the image U-Haul wants standing behind their brand.

AUTIO BLocation was changed for pick up the night before and paper work was ready when I arrived, waited 25 minutes, how every they did help with hook- up because the unit has no jack system to raise it up for hook-up( this should be addressed by UHaul, lifting force required is over 100pounds.

Terry AIt took 35 minutes to do the rental process at the desk-not a joke. He took my credit card 2 times. He spoke poor English and did everything through someone via a cellphone. Then I had to get into the snow to hook up the trailer as he couldn't help much because he was in Flip-Flops in cold northern Ontario in February. I returned the trailer then had to call Uhaul to confirm the return was done because he couldn't confirm it with me. I also learned that the lights on the were broken from someone on my trip. Poor poor service. I will look for another location next time or another way to transport my stuff. Certainly not Uhaul in Lively.

prazmowski jAfter asking several times for a final receipt, none was given. I was told there were not extra charges and I could just leave. Then, I saw a bill to my credit card for extra days which I had previously paid at the rental pick up location, plus I returned the rental two days early on top of that. The folks at the pick up location have help correct the problem. Still waiting for my refund.
