The employees at the Northfield location in Ohio are very unprofessional, I dropped my truck off and put the keys in the lock box, which an associate told me to do because they had just closed, only for them to tell me for 3 days that I didn't drop off the truck, and it wasn't checked in, insisted that I was lying, told me I had to wait to talk to the manager who of course was never there, so thefreey could check the cameras, when I called customer service I could not reach anyone right away, I had to wait 2 to 3 hrs for a call back, once they located the truck because they didn't do there job correctly,they charged my deposit for gas, which I put gas back in the truck to where it was when I received it, first they told me I was lying about dropping off the truck then they accused me of not putting gas in a truck that was missing for 3 days, and they charged me. For an extra day and said I went over my mileage, I spent about 300 dollars for a one way truck just to be called a liar because they don't know how to do there job, I hate that I picked this location,they are very unprofessional and caused me a lot of unnecessary stress.Millicent W.

The equipment had a broken tail light. When I informed the company rep, he shrugged it off as if it didn't matter and sent me on my way. I wasn't happy about driving illegally!RICHARD R.
Make it clear what happens if you are late to your pickup. I got held up at the hospital and was late. But because it's a self pick up, I thought it would be okay. It took an hour to be called back and helped.Eleanor S.

Mobile check in and return was overly complicated, but felt forced to complete because of the extra 20$ â€œconvenience feeâ€ that would have been charged to my card if not done. Had entirely filled out my application online and still had to wait 30 minutes in the office at pickup for the employee to completely fill it out again, even though I chose the mobile phone pickup option. I will not recommend this to anyone else.JAMES W.

I scheduled the pick up during there open hours, I get there and the store is closed. After trying to figure out online what to do for 15 minutes, I then called u-haul and the lady said I couldn't do online check in??? After several minutes with her, the next thing I know I am transferred to someone else who did change my reservation to online pick up and the key was in the lockbock. The vehicle was dirty and when asked I said it was dirty.... so when I checked out I said it was dirty. I NEVER made it dirty, I literately only hauled a stuffed chair. So what happens, you charge me $25 cleaning fee FOR SOMEONE ELSES DIRT!Jess B.
Lock It Up West personnel were exceptional. The only negative came from a call from UHaul Corporate trying to switch my reservation, from Lock It Up West. This call was very insulting and offensive. Corporate UHaul tried to steal the reservation from Lock It Up West. I refused to let that happen and was able to keep my original plans with Lock It Up West. It appears to me that Corporate is trying to put their independent dealers out of business. I encourage all customers to rent from the local independent dealers, and resist UHaul's attempts to switch your reservations. Small business is what make our economy successful.WILLIAM S.

Do it for free? No, seriously, I hate this question. It's attempting to generate negative feedback where there may not be any. The people were great. My needs were met. They were respectful, the opposite of lazy, knowledgeable, patient, etc. The guy even made a couple seemingly obvious recommendations like take a picture of the code for entry in case the paper is lost. I would have never thought of that. So on and so forth. Don't try to force negative feedback.MATTHEW T.

After moving a few times of the last 5 years, there's definitely a difference between uhual locations. This one has nice staff, easy check-in, and easy drop-off processes. They didn't overcomplicate things, 10/10 recommend.Rachel O.
There was a mix up about the price of my rental when I returned it. I ended up being overcharged, and it was frustrating to deal with getting a refund. In the end it was fixed so I appreciated that. Other than that my experience was great.Bradley M.

staff at longview street (Ave. ??) in Mansfield, OH was friendly. I hooked up the trailer to my car and stopped at the office before leaving. The coupler (on trailer) needs to be rebuilt or replaced.Bolt that tightens coupler to hitch is stripped and I sent a text reply to Uhaul earlier today .03.28.2020. Reservation was through one of your drop spots and I don't recall the company name.I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else however, earlier I made two other calls to Uhaul subs and both gents were very helpful, very professional.Mark M.

Not speaking to this location. But I was able to make a reservation and even got a confirmation mail for my order at my requested location. When I got to that location they were closed and had no trucks. I called uhaul and was informed I received a text changing the locations. I made it to the Longview location which was fine but had wasted gas and time. I had movers sitting and waiting for me. This is completely unacceptable. I will not use uhaul again.Megan O.

I was sent to a location other than requested for pick up and drop off. This resulted in increased mileage that I was charged for. An improvement would be either to arrange for a truck to be delivered to the requested location or give a break on the mileage.Kenneth L.
