The owner/the guys of this place is so friendly and helpful. He is super good.
JEEVAN BWell the bowman street location is completely terrible!!! Took us over 2 hours to get a uhaul which ended up in us having to go to a completely different location. Horrible experience. And for all the trouble we went thru to only get $10 off the truck price that was a joke as well. The guy at the columbus ave location on the other hand was great and expressed his deepest condolences on the trouble we had before going to him. Also we ended up having to get a smaller truck which resulted in us having to make multiple trips in a car to get the things that did not fit. Overall bad experience. Don't know that I would use uhaul again if needed!!!
Bruce CThe lighting was terrible.
JACKIE EParking for the trailer upon return was difficult. 2 rental trucks had come in since I left and they were parked in the only spaces where it was designated for U-Haul equipment. Maybe a larger parking area? With snow on the ground it was difficult to see the entire parking space.
Ryan NThe vehicle I rented was not prepped well before I picked it up. There was no windshield washer fluid in the vehicle at all (I found this out the hard way on I-90 near Erie, PA). The cabin was not messy but it could have been cleaner and the cargo hold was quite dusty with debris from the previous renter when I picked up the vehicle. Lastly, I was told when I picked up the vehicle that it had 1/2 tank of fuel, but it actually had a few gallons less than half a tank.
Matthew KNice guy great to deal with
Anthony BFriendly and professional
Walter TBlankets were wet.
Greg KRenter not on location because it was snowing just left keys in box i had to get keys. Warmbup truck. Clean and deice before leaving. Almost an hour. All of this and no dollie that i rented so jad to spend 60$ at walmart for 1. Not to mention that uhaul jacked it all up in tje beginning by me renting a truck then the day beforebot was due called me and said they didnt have one. So had to go even further to get a truck.
Greg TBrief encounter but liked what I experienced.
Frank MThe 26' truck is old and worn out. It needs to be replaced.
DAVID HThe staff was nice. The downside was the truck. The headliner was falling down, touching the top of my head. I drove the truck after dark, the headlights were very dim. It would have been tough if in inclement weather to see.
Matthew DThe whole process was very easy & user friendly.
alicia hOn a hill, not easy to park trailer. No help getting trailer in position and wheels chocked to keep it from rolling down the hill.
KENNETH MBrandon was very helpful when picking up the trailer. Overall an great experience.
Diane CVery cool virtual rental. Amazing that the process was done entirely on my phone. Vehicle could have been a little bit cleaner on the inside, but the overall rental experience was good.
David LThe text on where to pick the truck up sent us to the wrong address in Canton. We had to go another hour back the other way. Had to call customer service 4 times and the 4th person sent us the link to be able to pick up the truck online, because the pick up locationwas closed. It put us 3 hours behind on loading we had to stop at 11 and rent a hotel to stay in. Went back the next morning to finish and drive back to Cincinnati. It was very stressful getting the truck.
Philip HVery easy drop off. Overall very happy with Uhaul!
Paul BWell, first off U-haul, make sure you have a truck at the original spot that I requested...15 miles/30 minutes away. It makes things more convenient when you actually pick up the truck from the location you requested...two miles/4 minutes away. It helps when you also don't add charges not originally on the order. Also, shorting someone an hour's worth of time seems dishonest. It is easier when you have the dolly you requested at the location instead of a refrigerator dolly. The truck had pretzel salt in the cup holder and crumbs otherwise. So...yes, it was convenient that you added miles onto the trip, but overall that doesn't make up for all of the other inconveniences.
Brian BMake sure that the vehicle interior is wiped down. there were pop droppings on the ceiling of the vehicle at pick up. It was a poor starter and the interior smelled of smoke.
MARK AEverything was good with pickup of the truck and I had no problems with the truck.
Derek WNothing. Great location!
Jennifer GEverything was done on line. It was not a good experience.
Bruce BThe truck at time of pick up at the location Lock It Up in Wooster, Ohio was very dirty. The floor had mud all over. I had to clean it completely before it could be loaded.
KENNETH ZMissing supplies and didn't get a refund for missing items or missing items. 100+ worth of boxes and tape and drapes. We're not provided. Poor service.
Arely MGreat, friendly help!
DAVID SLock It Up Wooster was fabulous, but I had an awful experience overall. I reserved a 26’ truck and just hours before I was to pick it up I was called and informed that it wouldn’t be available and they could only offer a 15’ truck, and nothing larger was available in the area. I found that the Wooster location had a truck available, called back and had them switch it. My reservation said the truck at that location was guaranteed, and that was clearly not the case. Moving is stressful enough, and the individual who called to give me the news never even apologized and was absolutely no help.
Jeremy SI reserved the truck early enough in my area, but then got a call that we had to drive 45 minutes to pick it up, which is not acceptable. We won’t use Uhaul again, if a change is made like that again, and causes us extra stress the day we move.
ALEXANDER EThe man was kind and thanked us
Michael NSince the above happened we tried to call uhaul support. 15 minutes on hold, unhelpful rep transferred us to Michigan schedule (WTF?). After another 15 minutes on hold find out we have wrong location and they can't help. They stated we needed to talk to Ohio scheduling so they transferred us again......to Indiana scheduling! Again, WTF!!!! Another 15 minutes on hold and we are told they can't help either and transfer us to Ohio but gee whiz, their offices close at 7pm and we are shit out of luck. We drop off at your fucking stupid location another 30 minutes away and are eaten alive by swarms of mosquitos at that location. Seriously worst customer service ever, anywhere. Never doing business with UHaul scammers again and will tell everyone who will listen the nightmare that is doing business with you.
AMANDA CJust parked and left at 10pm, very convenient
KIMERBLY NCustomer service was excellent.
John BGentleman at the counter was very friendly professional.and helpful. I appreciate his help.
Jodie LI did not like the virtual check in process and had a lot of trouble with it.
James WThe rental van was excellent. The only place I would recommend from improvement is the automated check in procedure. I found this process to be very frustrating. I went through the selfie picture at least 4 tries, having the system tell me my picture did not match my license. Then, the alternate contact information could not be completed because the individuals I entered were unable to respond. I finally got through to a human representative and finished my check in in a matter of a few minutes versus the 30 minutes for the failed automated time. Long story shortened, please allow for enough time to check in through the automated service.
DEBORAH SI was very pleased with the end result at this location and the attendant but the ordeal of getting the original order was a stressful and upsetting undertaking. If i ever got a call from your organization to explain what happened I would be glad to. You could make sure that the order information is taken correctly and not changed without letting the customer know about it first. And the order information should not be sent to a person not on the order to begin with.
Janet KThe gentleman who helped us, even when the office was closed on the morning of March 20, deserves a great deal of praise. He made our move possible with his kind assistance. We weren't having any success with the online app (it asked for account info that had never been established), and he took time to help us in person. Five stars!
Doug LDrop off was quick and easy.
DEBORAH DIt took 30 min to turn in the truck. I had to wait on hold for 20 minutes for the customer service person to finally answer and then take me through security settings on my phone. Make sure you turn on Safari. Then, I received a call on Monday regarding some furniture that apparently was left on premise and the person calling was rude, he hung up on me and would not answer my calls.
Gary PDropbox was right at the door.
jarred bU-Haul needs to let the customer know that there are certain locations that are requiring online check in at this time and not even mention doing counter pickup for these locations.
Ryan BTruck was literally backed into a hill making it difficult to confirm damage or remove the lock and get the key. Otherwise it was fine.
John NI only drive the truck 15 miles. Yet when I filled up with fuel before bringing it back the truck took 4.5 gallons of fuel. That’s 3.3 miles per gallon. Fairly sure the vehicle was not on FULL when I picked it up.
Daniel KBecause this location is on the other end of where we were in Wooster I was charged $15.68 for going over 30 miles. Wadsworth to Wooster is over 20 miles
Jennifer JCovid ... So only interaction was handing key through the door.
Constance Onever anybody there
