ROSE GI am extremely displeased with how Osage city U-Haul interacted with my wife. Several months ago, I rented a U-Haul truck and trailer auto, from Lewisburg. When I went to go pick it up, I was notified that the auto trailer was not available despite reserving it several months ago, but I was rerouted to Osage. I picked up the auto trailer and then a few hours later. I tried to put my truck on it and my truck would not fit despite typing it into the app. I talked with people from customer service and they were really great saying that if I returned it by the next morning at 9 AM, we’d have a full refund to people and they were very rude to her. We called to see if we could return it in a different town since we’re already leaving, one girl said yes that shouldn’t be a problem. Just have paperwork showing you turned it into. Then after we turned it in a different lady from Osage, called my wife and said that was not OK and that it would have to be returned to Osage within the hour or they would not get a refund despite what customer service people said now we are out $400 or so Because the app was wrong saying my truck would fit and Osage city people not being willing to work and show us compassion despite what the U-Haul representative said and that we only drove the auto trailer 40 miles that entire day very frustrated

Sterling HIf it’s going to change locations, a phone call or an email would be nice to have. The website listed 3 different locations, two in my town (which was fun) and one 2 counties away. I anticipated on picking it up in Emporia, KS and use around 2 miles. I received a text message saying it was moved to Osage City, KS but I did not call the number listed to confirm that nor did I received any phone calls or emails about the location change. So, instead of my anticipated ~2 mile/$35, the whole thing ended up being ~74 miles/$142…

scott GUhaul corporate did not do well telling them my Emporia KS reservation was moved to Osage City, KS. They were able to eventually figure this out.

Beverly MLong Company was not my first choice because they are a bit further away from my home than another rental provider - however, the rental location close to me was an absolute 3-ring circus - nobody knew anything, I left my phone number with their promise to call me back that afternoon - 4 days later I called them. The person on the phone couldn't manage the reservation process and complained throughout the call to me. At one point the person said "this system is shit, it's completely f***** up". I kindly ended the call. Long Company was a much improved experience - the folks were friendly and tried to get me on the road as quickly as possible.

EDWARD LSaid online they opened at 8 am, got there 820 and no body was there. When I called the number woman told me she would be right out, waited 10 minutes before she came out to help us. Then spent about 30 minutes waiting for them to pull up my information. Then I was told the truck was full of gas and I would have to return it full, but it was only 3/4 of the way full. Would not recommend to anyone.

Craig DThe equipment is old and rusty , I had to stop several times to keep tightening the tire straps One came off the tire at one point. I had them as tight as they would go .The dolly towed well with no problems in the towing dept .
Tom Wthe owner was arrested and charged with rape and tying the babysitter the the bed. he was in jail and the wife was nowhere to be found. we got only one dozen blankets of which one bag contained dead cockroaches and there was no furniture dolly that was charged to us

Subsequently I was charged for an extra day which is completely unethical and unprofessional. I have emailed several times about this fee and am still waiting for a response.
