Have better location and make sure the chicken is clean

Aron PLet people know that you must take a picture of your driver's license and take a picture of yourself when using the mobile app. If you have a deadline, you need to plan to arrive 30 minutes early to get the unlock process completed. You will also need two other points of contact as references and your employer information on hand to enter into the app at the time of pickup.
Matthew NThere was no truck ready for us when we arrived. We had to spend at least 20 minutes on the phone with different customer service reps who struggled to understand and pinpoint the issue. Ultimately they had to send someone from uhaul to deliver us the keys but it was 45 minutes later than our intended pickup and we were on a tight timeline. It is still difficult for me to understand how a truck wouldn’t have been assigned to us the night before, as we scheduled it more than 48 hours in advance.
Samantha SThe drop off location was horrible. It is not a U Haul store. There were zero personnel of any kind and definitely no U Haul reps. No people at all. And only one tiny sign that said U Haul and a small orange key drop off box. Had to use app to return and app wasn’t working. Finally contacted a U Haul customer rep to walk through return. The whole experience after a multi state drive and unloading was just terrible. Took away from the positive experience of pick up. U Haul needs to change this and have an official U Haul store drop off or have U Haul personnel on site.

Ashley LI am only writing this in hopes that someone will read it and they will understand and suggest changes to to the company, but I k ow this is more for than anyone else. The person who reads this probably won’t have be high enough in the company to be able to affect change, though I am sure they ( you are a wonderful person with a beautiful life.) The equipment was great, and ran well, there were no problems there. There was some problems in the beginning when I picked it up, there wasn’t a key for it at the location and I had to wait an hour for that, but that was okay as well. I had to make several calls to U-Haul customer service (everyone was very helpful and friend.) Also, there was some trouble with the Mobil pick and verifying my identity. Which I understand, though that is some you should really mention that the person who is renting the van may need more than just their driver’s to verify their identity, or make it more clean on the website or the video. The reason though that I am writing this is because when I picked up the truck it was very clean and when I dropped it off, I made sure of it. There may have been a little dirt from my shoes but that is all. But at the end when I went to pay there was a surprise $25 cleaning fee. I am not a person of wealth, I live paycheck to paycheck. I know $25 might not be a lot to some people, but it means a lot to me. I budgeted for what I thought I was going to pay today, which was around $50, which I thought was reasonable. But after spending all day moving and to see an extra $25 tagged on to that at the end, was not great :( especially after having to deal with the earlier troubles with the key, and the identity verification. Justin HDon't try to charge people an arm and a leg to clean a truck that isn't completely clean anyway. Moving in the rain and then having to bring a truck to a place when it's pouring down raining and then them wanting to charge 157 to clean the truck I think it's bull probably won't never use U-Haul again
