I reserved a truck in one city and then had to drive 45 minutes one way to pick up a truck. I think if I reserve a truck in a specific city, I should not have to drive 1.5 hours two way to get the truck.STUART H.

My original pick up location was locked up tight and no one answered the phone. Second location made one phone call and gave me a 20 ft since she did not have a 15 ft. Wonderful service.Wally S.

Make sure you check the mileage before you leave. Take pictures of the mileage, gas and the truck before leaving the lot. Other than messing up on the mileage that we didn't notice until we went to turn the Uhaul in, our experience was very pleasant. After calling 1-800-GO-U-HAUL they saw in the system where the mix up was with the mileage and everything was settled. This was the only problem I had. The Uhaul was in great condition, everyone was very pleasant and professional.Stacy T.

Problems with the horn it kept sounding off for no reason sometimes when it was parked and nobody near it and sometimes just driving down the road! We returning the truck as I pulled into the convenience store the horn went off and as I was trying get to the pump and stop the horn I scraped the left bottom side of the truck on the pump guard..ROY R.

Made reservations to pick up at Augusta Avenue Storage in Waycross GA but when I arrived on Friday they had a sign on door saying closed till Monday had to call U-haul and find another location to get a truck this put me 1 1/2 hours behind schedule... The folks at Hope Transportation were very ice and helpful. Augusta Avenue Storage should not take reservations on a day they are closed it's just wrong and poor businessRoy R.

I did not have a problem with the location , U-Haul company as a whole has failed me this move and my previous move with the inefficient communication. This move I payed more money out of no error of my own. I expressed how with my previous move I tried to do after hour pick up and the location was closed and the U-Haul number no one would answer it was late and luckily we found another location right before close. This move I expressed how important it was that it did not occur this time , I was reassured it would not. I could not pick up at my preferred location and I was notified the day before at around 2 pm , I had to drive 2 hours from my work location to pick up at the nearest one from my home . I work in a Valdosta live in HOMERVILLE and had to drive to Waycross to get a truck. The truck was not available I waited 2 hours at the after hour pick up stop calling the U-Haul like numerous times and was on hold for the entire time being transferred multiple times. My movers were to arrive at 8 am the next day I was paying by the hour could not pick up a truck until 10 the next day due to having to drive to Waycross for pickup again. I worked about 2 hours before the heavens opened up due to the delay I returned my movers after 4 hours had to wait to unload my truck . The truck cost more the next day , I had to put more miles due to U-Haul lack of available nearby facilities , I was charged again after I returned to vehicle at the location and all in all this move cost me more money , I physically had to do more than i could with my injury and U-Haul has disappointed me for the last time. I will not use them in the future and will not recommend them to any colleagues or friends .Kaeaiya H.
