We arrived for our 9 AM pick up and the key was not in the box and getting a hold of somebody from the business and from U-Haul was near impossible. When we did get a hold of somebody from the business, they did come down and give us the key stating that their employee must have forgotten to put it in the box. When I did get in the truck, the check engine light was on and we flagged the employee down to tell him so and he said not to worry about it which did not make me feel great since I was driving the truck across state lines. Additionally, the furniture pads that I paid for were not in the back of the truck and when we told the employee that he said we had to drive down the street to the U-Haul business to pick them up ourselves, which I’ve never heard of before. The truck was parked next to another large truck and a van and getting it out of the very tight space was very very very difficult. Overall it was very very poor experience.
KYRA HMultiple trash items were left inside the truck ( food, napkins, drink cups) as well as almost no gas, just enough to make it to gas station down the street. Took about 30 min to get a code for the lock box sent which pushed our move time back significantly. The spot the uhaul was parked in was SO incredibly small took multiple tries to get the 26’ truck out.
CHRISTIAN SWhen I picked up the U-Haul there was multiple wooden pallets in the back of the truck that I had to remove and dispose of.

diana mNobody were there at location for assistance. App was complicated. Locker didn't work properly. .. we wasted around 50 minutes around (a whole hr paid) waiting on the truck.

Albert CI had to update location settings in three different places on my phone in order to use the online check-in. That should be more clear in the instructions. When I called for assistance, the woman was extremely friendly and knew immediately how to assist me. So that was great, but also an indication that it’s a widespread problem. Also, the padlock probably needs to replaced soon as it was hard to open.
Colleen Hfalsely charged me extra gas upon return. I have photos of the dashboard to prove I returned it with slightly MORE gas than I was given.

Alysia MThis was a horrible experience for family! It started getting a U box. I was supposed to get it Monday. No call or anything. Me and my wife called several times! I left a message and no one never called me back. The next day Tuesday we both called. We both call and my wife got thru and was told we would get boxes between 12-5. It's 4:30 and nothing! Than receive a email at 4:42 saying they don't have any U box until the 11th more than a week later. I never received a call. We finally able to get next time we, had so many issues with trailer. I am so tired ,lost money and time because of U haul. It seems like no one cares
