The truck was very dirty inside the cab. Dash and steering wheel were covered in grime and the carpets, mats, seats had stains. The truck itself sounded like it needs a tune up. It doesn’t sound like it was running well at all.

Jamie YI did not request vehicle insurance and did not receive any receipt or cost estimate when picking up vehicle. I expected the cost to be what the challenge agent Alstair (?) told me when requesting the truck. It was quite a bit more. I don't think the pickup location has printing capabilities.

diana jThe location is wonderful, Marcy is an absolute angel. The app on the other hand needs improvement. It couldn’t verify me bc it was a self check in at 11pm, and the yellow street light made it where the app couldn’t read my id etc. so it had me “hang on” in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere and then dropped my calls for help. Not my first time renting from U-Haul either. If it weren’t for Marcy just so happened to need to go next door she wouldn’t have known I was out there alone needing help. Someone send her a bonus for helping a female stranded in the night bc of U-Haul not being on point.

The website does not explain clearly that you pay rental fee, the 89 cents a mile, and are still responsible for refilling the tank. 19.98 in town rental fee is just that. Administration fee. Not mad, because my attendant was very polite and helpful. Know for next time it will cost $70.
Melissa AThe trailer had expired tags which we didn’t notice until we got to Minnesota. They expired in March, clearly visible on the license plate. Very disappointing that Uhaul would send us on our move with a trailer that could have gotten us a ticket.
