TROY BRod was amazing to work with on our rental. He was able to combine the pick-up of the truck and auto transport trailer at his location saving us a trip which was booked at two different locations via the web. Not sure why the system did not know he had the trailer we needed all in one place.
Greyson EWhile the truck looked fine it had a terrible stench of cigarette smoke in it. We had to drive 16 hours smelling this and all our stuff including ourselves smelled awful. Also, we got flat tire with the trailer that had to be repaired. The repair was handled by Uhaul but we stuck over an hour getting this done.
Janet HOn March 26, 2025 I walked into Lucky Peak Imports Uhaul to rent a truck to move a refrigerator. Sean the manager was there and appeared stoned. Despite my initial caution, they had gotten good reviews on Google so I went ahead. I was further surprised that there was no contract shown to me. He did not ask or state that I was to be charged for insurance. I told him that I would return the truck within 24 hrs, which I did. He simply told me that the keys were in the truck, and did not explain any kind of special check-in process. When I returned the truck the next day around 1pm (within the 24 hr window), Sean was not there, no one was... I called Lucky Peak Imports number and got Sean's voice mail. I looked around and saw a very small sign with a code to scan to complete the check out process. I tried to get the website to work, but kept getting "server is down" messages. I called Uhaul 3 times and finally they admitted that they had been informed that the website was down. She said to just leave the keys and lock the truck, which I did. The whole process was so confusing in that I was not told anything by Sean, the website was not functioning, so I had no real instruction on what to do. I also did return the truck in time which they lied about and charged me for two days, but I have photo proof of odometer readings and times of check-out and check-in, along with phone call I made at 1:43pm to Sean telling him I returned the truck within the 24hrs. Also, they charged me $80 for a new key for locking it in the truck, which I feel is totally unfair given the circumstances. Why don't they keep a spare key to the truck?? I will absolutely never go there again and highly recommend no one else do either!
SCOTT HTrailer had a damaged front tire tie down that was damaged. Had to take the trailer to another location for repairs. Trailer was dirty and needed to be swept. I will say that the person was very pleasant and swept the trailer. We did not get the number of blankets ordered/charged for. We only got 18. Once loaded noticed a low tire. Took it to another shop. 5 of the 6 tires were low with one rear tire at 30 lbs.

Martina JThe actual places that I rented from and returned to were fine. However, U-Haul changed my rental and I had to drive over three hours to pick up the rental truck. I was on a really tight timeline and it caused a lot of stress and delay. Not very pleased with this.
BOZENA MQuestion: "What can we do to improve for the next customer? Answer: Scantily clad female baristas offering copious quantities of caffeinated adult beverages? Right. Rod, who as it turns out is for the Byrds, was in nearly every respect, completely awesome. Please let him know that the 15' trucks have 40 gallon tanks. Also, Willy Nelson would have been fun too, but discussions regarding our gracious host's "White Trash" musical moments were no less engaging and germane to the occasion too as we prepared to leave our Red Neck friends in Western Idaho far behind - - and which, it should be mentioned is and has become more purple by the day. Felt sure you'd want to know. :)j.
john lThe office was closed when I arrived at 2:15 even though posted office hours were 9 to 5. There was a number posted on the door for "Rod" which I called, twice and it went to voice mail. He didn't call back until after I got intouch with a U-haul rep who informed me I should have received a code for self service. I waited for over an hour, outside in the heat before finally getting access to the truck with Nancy Rocha's assistance. Rod never showed up while I was there.
Danielle MThe guy I spoke with said the rental would be $19.99 for one day. I asked him if there was any additional paperwork I had to sign. I was thinking that there was a contract modification or something. “Oh, no, you’re all set… just keep the truck and return it on the agreed time. I will leave the gate open.” It turned out that the charges were not as he explained! Be safe, or rather KEEP OUT!

Edward DThis was not a U-Haul location but just a dropoff. There was a very narrow road leading to location and it looked like it was a dead end, but the trucks were around a curve ... there were no signs. Nobody there to tell us where to leave truck and keys, so had to call.

Kristofer CI currently am disputing the fuel level recorded upon return- I actually put more gas in it than I used (I put 4 gallons in it), but was charged for 5 gallons; I only went 19 miles, even if I didn’t fuel up, which I did, I certainly did not use 5 gallons! Also there wasn’t anyone to check me back in when I was done- totally fine- so I dropped the keys where the tenant told me to upon picking up- in the morning, I got a text asking where I put the keys bc he couldn’t find them- I told him in the orange box where he told me to, he then replied he found them- just weird- wouldn’t he check that place first before causing customer panic?
Marie HThe truck was pretty dirty, there was a lot of mud on the truck and the interior was kinda dirty. We had to take it to a car wash before we drop it off to make sure we were not charged for the extra cleaning fee. Also the gauge cluster did not let us switch between speed, fuel mileage, economy. Just left on speed. Messed with the buttons none of them allowed us to switch info. Other than that, truck drive smooth. Nice and easy to park with the back up camera.

KAYLA CVehicle was dirty and the gas was near empty. The vehicle was covered by snow and the back did not have snow swept out. The U-Haul employee informed me that the pickup had been stolen and that it was found deeply stuck in mud and was towed. In my view, the truck was not sufficiently checked out to determine if safe to rent. I found debris still stuck around the inside of the drivers side back wheel.

Don CGREAT experience. Amazing customer service and friendly people. Best DOGS ever too. The only UHAUL thing that needs fixing is the contract/rate we sign up and pay for online somehow doesn't not translate to the locations. The rates were doubled, the insurances were doubled and not the correct ones we selected, etc. What is the point of online reservation and pay if have to complete all over again at different amounts.
David DWell, I was told to return the truck with half a tank of gas but not told how big the tank is and how many gallons constitutes a half tank. Had to guess and overshot it. No big deal. Truck was super and the location perfect for my needs. People working there were very kind.

Having a 26' truck towing a trailer, I could only block the road as there was no place to park and noboday was at the location even though it was 4pm on a tuesday
