We booked our truck close to our location on Campbell Avenue. Our email confirmation clearly showed the pickup location as 1721 University Avenue W, Windsor, ON N9B 1C5, but we were sent to a different location that was much farther away. Our reservation clearly listed the location we originally booked. When we arrived to pick up the truck, it had not been properly cleaned. There was snow on the door, and the shutter was stuck due to snow and ice. We had to remove the snow ourselves and pour water on it just to be able to open it. The gas level was also marked incorrectly. It was shown on the second line, but when we checked, it was actually only at the first line. In addition, the side mirror was broken, making it difficult and unsafe to see while driving. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend this location to anyone.

ADEWALE HOriginal location was Jo Jo mart and the truck was not there. The gentleman was helpful in contacting U-Haul rep to find out new location. U-Haul was to call me about the change in advance but no call was given. Not locations fault but disappointed with U-Haul for not notifying me
STEVEN BNo over lapping system. If I book for 9:30 my van should be ready at 9:30. I had to wait till 10:30 for my van and I had a moving service at 10:30. Thankfully they were accommodating but imagine if they were not? I would have lost our on my movers money

Imdad RThere was a language barrier and things needed to be repeated in order to communicate. Also, it was very frustrating to have to go through all of the information again when it had already been completed on line. The person at this location could not access the completed forms and we had to go through it all again. The location would benefit from having staff that are fully educated in the process of renting out vehicles. We had to ask about things such as prior damage on the vehicle ourselves and request a walk around. This should be a part of the rental process... how is a customer to know that spots marked with a "star sticker" have been noted already ?
