The people who took my order and gave/received truck were very nice. However, I was given the truck with 5/8ths full of gas, which makes it very difficult and potentially costly to return with 5/8ths. I've been renting trucks for over 20 years in LA, and never had I had anything other than a full tank of gas to start with, since it is easy to return with a full tank

Super nice and helpful employees. Had a lot of anxiety going into it, but they made the process super simple and easy. Our U-Haul was parked right out front before we arrived, ready to go, and check in took only 5 minutes.

The people at MB Auto were excellent. Unfortunately, the experience with you, Uhaul was one of the worst examples of pisspoor corporate apathy i've ever witnessed. You, Uhaul, suck at the transition between onboarding and actually fulfilling the order. Do better, try caring about your customers experience MORE than making a quick sale.

The staff is super friendly but the facility is really dirty. The cleanliness of the truck itself on the inside was okay, the outside okay, the windows were really dirty. I am sure the inside had not been cleaned or sanitized before I rented it. But once again, the staff was very friendly and nice.

Although the UHaul at the Pico location was great, this was the THIRD U-Haul location that I was sent to pick up the truck that I reserved. The manager and employees at The 5051 Obama Blvd, Los Angeles location were utterly incompetent and released the truck that I reserved to a different customer. This cost me valuable time and money because I had workers waiting on me.

They took 48 minutes to actually give me the uhaul which I reserved at 08:30AM and on top of that they close at 1pm. I didn't get to start moving an hour later which meant I could not take everything to my new location.

I would recommend this location but they only accepted my uhaul return out of kindness. Uhaul was telling me I had no choice but to go to a different location after they previously told me I HAD to go to this location. The people at this location are amazing. Uhaul on the other hand has been the worst during all of this

I was told I would be reimbursed $50 for delivering a trailer from LA to San Jose. The plan was to pick up the trailer from Long Beach. However, when I arrived there they told me that the trailer wasn't there and the deal is no longer available. I was very disappointed by the unorganized and chaotic system. The trip from LA to Long Beach cost me 50 miles round-trip and total 2.5 hours (including the wait time over there). By the end of all this I was never compensated the $50 nor received and apology for my trouble. Moreover, I was charged $7 for the extra miles driven!

The original location of where I placed my pickup for no longer was a U-Haul agent, yet my order went through without being notified. When I go to that location I was informed of this. I went to the next nearest location and for some reason they had my order. Was never informed. U-haul needs to update their website to avoid this kind of issue. That being said - the new location was very helpful, and had the vehicle I requested.

I received a ticket in my residential neighborhood for $500 because it's a commercial vehicle and it can't be unattended at any time which I was not aware of. I'm currently fighting it and it's under review so it should be tossed out but I'm not sure yet. So I would make sure to inform your clients to park U-Hauls off the street if they can otherwise they will receive a ticket in this area

Posted closing hours were different from actual closing hours (7pm vs 6pm). Also, I was told I could drop off the vehicle/keys after hours but that wasn't the case and therefore made things more stressful/difficult on my moving day.

This location was great and the people there were incredibly helpful. My only complaint about my Uhaul experience is not related to this location, but to the Uhaul website in general. First of all, it allowed me to reserve a truck for pickup that was outside the available hours for this location. Second, when my location was changed, I didn't receive anything in writing and neither the app nor the website showed the new address. The website ought to be revised so that it registers each locations hours and doesn't allow you to reserve a truck for pickup outside of a locations hours if that location doesn't have the 24 hour pickup option. There should also be an automatic email and update in the Uhaul system to display the current, accurate pickup data. Those are two major oversights and both of them jeopardized my moving schedule. Thankfully the people at this location in particular were able to work with me to arrange a smooth pickup despite the problems inherent to the Uhaul website.

I have a serious problem with U-Haul that I would like to report. Your company has adopted a new policy of taking a photograph of both the front and back of my driver's license and keeping it on file- even after I returned the truck that I rent it- you kept my personal, private, intimate and sensitive personal information in your un-encrypted computer files. I have a SERIOUS problem with that. I believe it is a violation of my privacy and puts my personal and financial security at risk for U-Haul to keep my driver's license information, photograph, signature, and bank account information permanently in your system and it aggravated me deeply to have to submit to this kind of absurd and invasive policy, in order to rent a truck. I would like you to delete the photos of my driver's license which you have on file- you do not have my permission to keep them. If my identity or money is stolen- I will be coming STRAIGHT BACK to your company- because I will know exactly where the breach of security that led to the problem came from- and that's U-Haul. I think it is absurd and offensive for you to retain my private information, full stop. It will influence my willingness to use your company moving forward for my truck rental needs. Even in an era of no privacy- U-Haul is pushing the boundaries of reasonable behavior by retaining so much personal information of their customers, once our business transactions have concluded.

Service was very good. They lady who helped us was nice and very understanding. They explained how to use the truck and helped with adjusting the mirrors and seats. The price was good. The location is right next to the light so when you get out of the driveway there isn't a constant stream of cars that you can't get out. The truck itself was pretty easy to drive. I had a great experience. Thank you!!

Without going in to the whole story, the Beverly Hills location on Wilshire at United Mailboxes failed in every way. Hadn't bothered calling the guy who had the van we were to pick up, was compltely disinterested, didn't call us back after trying to ontat him..TERRIBLE.. (this was Nov. 26 9:30 a.m.). BUT, then we met Elsie at the location we rented from. She was great. Despite us being screwed with the timing and losing two hours of our rental and then having to get it back before closing as no drop off at that location, she was nice enough and smiey enough to make me not want to seriously complain to corporate on how the company operates in L.A. Elsie deserves recognition and a commendation and everyone else should be fired. She even went the extra mile for the next customer by telling us clearly it had to be back for an 8:30 a.m. pick up. It was as though a RESERVATION meant something. Our reservationapparently didn't and threw us into a terrible amount of stress, loss of two hours (we now will have to likely rent again or make additional long trips to storage because of this screw up by U-Haul) and as we had driven all the way to the first location, additional gas and just plain frustration. NOT impressed with Beverly Hills at ALL and hated how the woman couldn't have cared less and was so dismissive. UGH

This location is super close to my house, so it's really convenient in that way. I realize that the real estate at this particular location is such that they don't have room for parking, so that's the only reason I didn't click "excellent." You do have to find a place on the neighboring streets to park your car while you have the rental truck, but it's non-permit parking, so it wasn't that big of a deal. It's nice though, with some of the other locations, to be able to keep your car locked up overnight in their lot while you have a truck. But again, very convenient location, nice people, great experience. Thanks!

I called U-Haul and extended my rental another day. And hour later the location called me and canceled saying they were going to be closed because they were going to a wedding! They said if I did not return it by 6 PM I could not return it until Monday and they would charge me for two more days. Terrible service. Terrible attitude. Claimed there was a New scratch and charged my card $150 after I left! I am disputing the charge both with U-Haul and with my bank. Avoid this location!

Be understanding, the customers satisfaction is mostly reliant on its interaction with the staff. Ensuring that from pick up to drop off is a pleasant experience SHOULD be a non negotiable, and if you can make a slight exception for the customer... DO IT. in the long run it only helps your business because now that very satisfied customer will share the great experience with , bring you new business— while still continuing to support you themselves. ... when i returned my vehicle, the gas meter was 1/8 off from its original. The woman was bery abrupt when asking if i went to the station to film it back up, even though it was evident i had seeing as the ofometer read that id driven 40 miles. Paying for extra gas was not my issue, it was the way they comminicated it to me. And for it to be that little in difference did not call for the line of questioning that proceeded
