The person in charge was awesome. He explained everything in details and was super nice. This comment is addressed to U-Haul Head Office in Arizona and NOT to the local dealer in both the pick up and drop off locations: When you use trucks destined for Canada, especially in the east, EQUIP THEM WITH SNOW TIRES. That is my only complaint. Make sure the tires are in good condition, the front one were almost bald. I got stuck and had to call a tow truck. The company is rich enough to be able to do so and it would improve customer satisfaction.
GISELE LSome miscommunication between employees and drop off time which resulted in negative comment towards me, however It was retracted and apologized. No wiper fluid which was a little dangerous when I went to use it. Other than that everything was great.

Noah BThe equipment , a 20ft truck, was a great choice for the one-way move from Ottawa to Nova Scotia, however the deal I had been given a month before the rental date was suddenly taken back on the day I picked up the truck. This was quite disconcerting as the cost had gone up a lot, and the new drop-off location was not what I had agreed to. However, after speaking to the head Office and explaining what had transpired, U-Haul renewed my faith in the company by adjusting the final price to reflect what I had originally agreed to a month before, and allowing me to drop the truck off at a more convenient location. Thank you!

STANLEY BOur original pick up location was supposed to be at 126 Seaview Dr. North Sydney. We were informed the night before while travelling on the ferry from NFLD that the truck would not be available for pickup the next day. They had given it to someone else and we would have to wait 3 days for it. We were one of the couples stranded due to the Air Canada strikes in NFLD. We were told to read the disclaimer and that your vehicle pick up date can be changed. What is the point of booking a date and time in the first place if it can be changed at their discretion??? Now we would be stranded in North Sydney. After a lengthy discussion I was told that I could get another truck in Antigonish. That was a 3 hour taxi drive from North Sydney costing us $400.00. on top of everything else. The gentleman from Antigonish could not do enough for us!!! He gave us more information on U Haul rentals then anyone else has since the 20 years that we have been renting from U Haul. I would highly recommend this location to everyone.

BENJAMIN RAvailability of trucks is horrible. After booking a truck a week in advance to move my son. I find out that I would have to drive near 2 hrs to get a truck. No fault of macmillans petrocan. Uhaul is not able to take care of customer needs. If you can not provide a service, don’t offer it.

owen bAfter waiting a week after making a reservation, this is what |I get, notified 2 days before my move with NO TIME TO REBOOK WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!! Wrong equipment, 10ft & auto hauler not available after all, given 15ft truck & tow dollies Wrong location, more than twice as far away Called reservation desk multiple times, can't help, systems down. Sounded like a party in the background. Rude, uncaring uhaul reps At pickup I was told that since I had to drive more than twice as far as the original booking location (Twice - there & back, so 4x further) that they'd only charge me $0.69/km instead of $0.99/km and now they've charged full price so I have to spend more time on the phone. A couple days after return, some odd additional charge was TAKEN FROM MY CHEQUING ACCOUNT WITHOUT PERMISSION Uhaul got nothing right. The whole transaction seemed VERY VERY VERY SCAM-LIKE AND NOW THEY ASK ME HOW MANY GD STARS THEY DESERVE!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN, and I'll be telling EVERYONE !!! GET LOST

Alex DSome of the marker lights did not work - bottom side lights front and rear on both sides. The customer service operator noted this and asked that I report same to the returning rep.
