Not sure why I was charged extra? I dropped off the truck Thursday but they clocked it in on Sunday? I am on hold for over an hour now inquiring about the additional charges??? Every time I have called the hold time is unacceptable over 45 minutes each of 5x. Never again.....will I rent from Uhaul.timothy P.

Mackies is OK. The U-Haul reservation process is really bad, I found out the online reservation is treated more like a request. It led me to believe I was getting the truck from our local U-Haul guy but the day before he knew nothing about it. I never received a call by 6 pm the day before as promised. I called the U-Haul number and was on hold for nearly and hour while at the same time trying the chat feature on a tablet. Eventually the chat provided the "regional number". After another long wait the regional lady scheduled the truck for pick-up at Mackies which is much farther away. I will look for other options before ever trying U-Haul again. r/ Ted KlineTheodore K.

Improve your self service site. I clicked on No Damage to the vehicle during pickup, so the screen did not ask me to upload a photo. When I got to the end, the site gave me an Error - No Photos Found, Please contact UHaul location. This was only a minor inconvenience that day since the owner had come in early that day, but had he not, I would have been stuck at the location, unable to Dispatch through the self service site.RayeAnne B.

Person behind the desk ws the only person available and he was feeling bad. He suggested that I hook up my dolly and check the lights by myself since I had experience doing so in the past.Reid C.
Rented the uhaul for 25 minutes. We purchased a patio set and the box was too big for our SUV. We drove the uhaul maybe 10 miles total and had it back within 45 minutes. We were charged $52. I can't seem to find a receipt of why I was charged so much. The $19.95 rental plus Milage and tax should have never been $50. I did drop it off a few minutes after they closed, but I choose mobile pick up and drop off and there was no fee for that listen anywhere in my agreement. Next time I'll wait for family to offer me a truck. Insane cost for an hour.Jake W.
Charged my bank account two times which was a month apart for a uhaul i paid for the day of pick up an the renter extended the rental an told them NOT to charge the card that was first used an she would pay in cash on return. I was taken to another state an then after a month found a new charge to account for a uhaul that I wasnt renting or using. It was in someone elses name an they should have been charged for the rental since they were told NOT to charge the card since it was someone else's name on card and money an Not the renters.CRYSTAL B.

Customer service lacking. Did not explain process. Seemed irritated when I asked questions. Referred to me as â€œafter I help HERâ€ I was disappointed and it said online I could return to another location but that was not true and created significant inconvenience. Process is deceiving. I saw plaques of high ratings on the wall, but my experience did not meet that. The vehicle was clean on driver side, but appeared to have straw or hay on passenger seat. I realize everyone is stressed during this pandemic but please don't take it out on customers if that's the case.Beth R.

My reservation was changed 2 times in the span of a day. The first change was due to another customer extending their reservation. This is not a fault of the company. However. My new location was 20 miles away in another town and once we arrived there, the location was closed. Uhaul did not verify the location was available before changing my reservation. After having to call the main line for a representative to get a new location, I was sent back to my original town to a different store that had the trailer. WHY was I sent to a town 20 miles away when my town had the trailer available already?!?!KALAN K.
