My daughter called 2x’s and was told by Kyle, that they were only a drop off, not a “pick up” and was then referred to Dilworth. I then called and spoke w Lucas, (Luke) on his name tag. I told him I needed a 15ft. He then told me it wasn’t available and tried to rent me a larger size. I then repeated what I wanted. He then told me they didn’t have one available. I then told Lucas I had reserved one on their website the previous night and it says available. Lucas then said, “oh, it’s for in town.” Yes, that’s what I need it for, in town. I then said, “I will be there shortly.” My daughter and I showed up to p/u the 15foot, when Kyle had said, we were standing on the wrong side of the counter. That’s when my daughter told me, that was the person’s voice that told her both times she had called, that they only drop off and not p/u. Lucas, struggled w our “rental” he ended calling someone, i believe U-Haul over the phone. Then he said my daughters cc information out loud, instead of allowing us to speak directly w the person he was speaking w. We didn’t receive any paperwork or anything. We could’ve did our own “online” registration. Especially if privacy & personal information was going to be compromised. I wasn’t impressed. I told Lucas that I had rented a truck from there before, and the young man that helped me that day was so polite and helpful. I asked for the managers name and he nor Kyle gave me the manager’s name. The link to confirm “care” and confirmation didn’t work. I ended up making a video log of the truck & our experience. We added more gas than we had when we p/u the truck. Just to find out that we were almost charged for 2days, when we only had it for 7-8 hours, which I specified to Lucas.

MATTHEW NUpgraded reservation/computer system. I got a call during the transaction from U-Hauls national team and didn't pick up as I was in the process of checking out and it reset the whole process. Took a long time but worked well.

Philip MI dropped trailer off after business hours. There was no one on site but the site seemed organized and was easy to access.

Tank was half empty and filled it completely before return as I’ve always done but didn’t realize I was only supposed to fill back to under half as picked up. Not looking for a handout but wish they’d meet me in the middle since I put $60 in gas for only using $10

Lester BSo I reserved a U-Haul over a month in advance, I picked the location closer to where we needed to be. 2 days before moving U-Haul switched the location up which added an extra 22 miles to our trip. This was uncalled for, when we arrived to Mac’s the prices where not aligning to what we were quoted. The employee did call and get it figured out for us. Overall Mac’s was great. U-Haul in my opinion is trying to get a bang for their buck and tends to screw customers over.
Taylor DThe only employee who could help us with the rental was not knowledgeable. He had to call someone to get help getting through the contract. It was very time consuming. He didn't know how to hook up the trailer either - we had to train him.

THOMAS SCup holder was broken no radio and the shocks where awful on the truck and we had a long distance drive. So had to buy a blue tooth speaker and I am still worried because of all the bouncing around my stuff was shifted all my dressers had bad wear from rubbing. We couldn't go more than 55 and it would start bouncing like crazy and any bump in the road made it worse.
MONIQUE AThe truck broke down but we don't know who is responsible for the maintenance of the vehicle. I refuse to recommend Uhaul but Macs Hardware wasn't involved in that fiasco. They should probably have the Uhaul tow number nearby rather than tell us to look up the number on the emailed rental agreement.

Jeff FTruck was a late model with rust on wheels and Truck body. Oil change was a month overdue by the service sticker on the windshield. MPG was less than 8 MPG.
Gary KHave the equipment at the location it was reserved. I had to drive to a town 60 miles away to get the truck I reserved in order to have it for the time I made the reservation.

Michael BVery poor experience, have never had to deal with something like this from UHAUL before. I picked up a car hauler trailer and a few hours into my trip a truck flagged me down and informed me there was an issue with my trailer. One of the leaf spring bolts had come out and the trailer was no longer safe to drive. I was able to get off the highway and into a parking lot. It took 8 hours for UHAUL to get a new trailer to my location. I requested a refund and UHAUL basically took no responsibility and offered me a 12% discount despite the fact that their poorly maintained equipment put my family's safety at risk and cost us 8 hours on a cross country trip. Unsat UHAUL.

Latoya WI thought I requested a location in Fargo. Going to this East Moorhead location was quite a was out of the way. Staff was friendly and helpful at location.
Wayne WCargo van/pickup will leak air in (noise) on the top right corner on the door seal while driving it on the interstate.
Rafael GDidn't give me the right key and didn't contract the equipment properly, making it extremely difficult to return the equipment I had.
Rebecca LI took trailer to convent place in Fargo and they told me I had to drive 30 min out of my way to another state. This then lead to me being late to another pickup. Staff at Fargo location were not helpful in any way. I will avoid uhaul unless last resort, I will NEVER recommend it for anyone to use.

Scott ENeed to put signage up outside as I was looking for U Haul sign only to find out they didn’t have one. Luckily I was driving by and noticed a U Haul trailer in a retail customers parking lot. They were friendly getting me on my way tho.
