MICHAEL HI am beginning to think the heretofore wonderful people at Uhaul are making the patron the fall-guy in what would be a horrible action taken by one of its own. Not only was I (the patron) traumatized and humiliated in a very public setting (a Uhaul dealership), but as promised by the store owner, my charges were dramatically increased. I was promised a call-back which hasn't come and appears will not. This very troubled man seemingly has the blessings of Uhaul to treat a long-time customer in the depraved manner he chooses with no fear of reprisal. I am here to tell you he won't. I have contacted my attorney who has instructed me to not wait beyond tomorrow and if the wrong has not been addressed, to file both criminal and civil charges. I filmed most of the episode once out of view of store cameras and there were many witnesses, as well. The man is scary and is a very angry person who should never be allowed, again, to harm people in this manner. Richard M. McMinn

Jesse HThe employees here were great and equipment was clean he hooked up the trailer for us he was super nice and helpful. HOWEVER, we had a huge issue when going to drop it off literally 2 miles from dropping off. Whoever did the last brake job on it did it incorrectly, did not bleed the brakes so there was air in the lines and the brakes completely locked up and left us on the side of the road. What would have happened if the trailer would have been loaded what if we were going 55 down the freeway and not 10 in a little town with an empty trailer?!? I don't know who is actually responsible for that kind of maintenance I don't assume that it is the people renting out these I assume that it is U-Haul itself so I don't want to drag this place if it is not their fault, but U-Haul needs to step it up whoever is responsible for this maintenance. I would want to argue about getting a discount for future U-Haul rentals, but I don't really think I want to use U-Haul again what if this would have been in an truck of theirs not just a trailer being improperly maintained?

Michael RCustomer service at Mac's was great. I was rerouted from Oroville to Gridley. It was a bit of an inconvenience since it was 20 minutes in the other direction and with milage charges it was a bummer. Then when I returned it with the gas the same as when I picked up I was charged 22$ because it was logged at half tank and not just under half tank which is exactly what I returned it at. Next time I will take a start pic of the pickup fuel level. Lesson learned. Overall my experience was mostly good with the rental.

SKY CI set a reservation locally and when I arrived the location was closed up. They couldn’t get ahold of the location manager nor the one for the sister location and had to send me out of town which set me back two hours after it was all said and done. Plus the mileage I was allotted did not calculate the distance back to where I was leaving from. The kid who set me up with my uhaul told me I could pick my drop off time so I chose 2pm. It wasn’t until a couple hours before that I was informed I had to bring it back by 12pm. Since I had planned on 2pm I had to get permission to even turn it in at that time and spent 30 mins on the phone. This was my first Uhaul rental and it was a serious pain. I don’t know how I was able to reserve a truck for a location that was not in service. Lastly, the fuel tank was supppsed to be at 7/8 which it appears at when you look from the side of the truck. But when you are actually seated it was well under 7/8 and by the time I noticed I was already on the road and didn’t wanna turn around. So I ended up probably paying $20 extra in gas to get it to a point that it wasn’t at to begin with. After all the trouble, Uhaul didn’t offer any thing to make up for the inconvenience which would have made it a lot more acceptable. L
