U-Haul need to update their system on getting the key for the truck we had to talk to three different people it took us an hour and a half to get the key to the truck this is not acceptable cuz it put us behind

It was not obvious where to drop the trailer or even where the office is. After un-hooking the empty trailer, it started to roll. Then an employee came to help push the trailer back into place and chock the tires. Fortunately, a serious accident was not caused by the trailer hitting something. We should never have to do that alone, especially since the lot is slopped. The Snead location is flat and dirt so trailers will not roll away.

WILLIAM KThis is 2 times in as many times that I have rented a trailer from the location in Blountsville Alabama. Very helpful and professional, will definitely be back to do more business with these folks. But.....1 don't know how you folks at Corporate can keep up with anything. 2times the trailer was returned and 2 times I have had a major problem with this. If it wasn't for dealers that care about old fashion service and the customer experience you would be in trouble. Give them dealer of the year for customer service 👏

Marcus TTruck had been smoked in. When sitting with the windows up, it was very apparent but once heading down the highway with windows down, it aired out where I couldn't tell.
Brian SThis was not my original choice for pick up and the business was closed so no assistance could be provided. The online check in system would not work properly in such a rural area and the barcode to be scanned for check in was placed in location that was not accessible. I left and went to another uhaul place to get help which wasn’t offered. I ended up calling the toll free helpline again and finally got a truck three hours later. Worst experience I’ve ever had with uhaul.

Stacie HI had scheduled drop off at a location in Arab Alabama. When I arrived I was rudely told that he would not accept the trailer because he didn't have room. He told me to go down the road to a different location. When I arrived, the new location was closed. When I attempted to return the trailer via the online site I was instructed to scan the bar code that was posted. However there was no bar code posted. I called the uhaul number and was instructed that I would have to carry the trailer to another location 18 miles away. This was extremely frustrating since my original scheduled location met my needs the best. I will think twice before using uhaul again.

Rufus BWhen I got the truck the mileage did not match what was on the mobile pickup. I called and informed uhaul about it. It was set at 47166 online but 47286 on the truck. Big difference there. I ended my trip at 47352. That’s 66 miles. And I was charged for 186. I returned my truck and talked the dealer and let him know the mistake. He acted clueless as to how to fix it. I called him later that day to see if it was fixed and he said I don’t know... Terrible service. I’ve called and emailed uhaul and still nothing has been fixed. I suggest anyone looking to rent a truck definitely don’t go to uhaul.

Natasha JWe left an item in the uhaul after locking I realized and called corporate, Ashley went above and beyond to try to solve the problem. I had to make a second trip there to retrieve my item but the place opened 10 minutes before opening and kindly went above and beyond to help me. Went and opened the truck so I could get the item. When returning the uhaul, I must add, I mopped it 5 times, wiped the wall and top down, fueled back to FULL. It was clean when I picked it up but I worked on it for 2 hours cleaning before I put my things in it. Returned exceptionally clean. :)
SHERRY FNice guy but took us 45 minutes to get the rental because he was busy help others on the phone for 30 minutes. No other personnel to help anyone. They are running 5 different businesses out of that location (tanning beds, pawn, trailer rental, movie rental & UPS drop off)

richard dOnly one vehicle available. A 26' truck in a parking lot and boxed in by cars. Overcharged me when UHaul was supposed to allow extra mileage for inconvenience. The guy was okay, dogs and all. UHaul is the issue.
Casey MFirst they were to open at 11:00 am but did not show up until 11:30 making me wait for them. Then was not even sorry they were late. Finally said he was sorry when I was getting into my car. The building was dirty and he had two large poodles with him when he got out of the car. Not caring if I had a problem with dogs or not. Processed to tell me I could have just dropped it off. I said no because there is an additional $20 charge for that. Oh well we don’t charge that. Like I was supposed to know. He came out and took it off the car because I could not get it on my own. That was the only help I got there. Very rude and condescending. I will not return.

Sharon YI was shorted a reserved appliance dolly for my reservation. It made moving my appliances a total nightmare. Thankfully, your call center representatives were able to at least refund the cost of the dolly.

michael mThe dealer ripped me off. I rented a truck and he asked how many miles tho I thought I would use. I said 100. I dropped the truck off before they reopened and I mentally noted that I had used 60. I followed up with a phone call after they had opened and was told that they had not checked it in but would adjust the milage. That was never done. I followed up with another phone call and was told they could not my information.
David LRented a trailor with the total being 34.00 Received a text from my credit card with 69.00 charge. Then I discovered there was a deposit I knew nothing about. I was advised the deposit would be returned when the trailor was returned...Trailor was returned yesterday with no return as of yet. I authorized the 34.00 to be deducted from my account NOT 69.00. In most worlds unauthorized use of a credit card is a crime..
Robert WThe original pickup location, S&S Storage in Cleveland, AL, was closed and according to customer who drove up, they had been there three times the day before also with no luck. Why didn’t the app give this information?
Steve BI called and set up the time and date for the truck. I get there to pick up the truck and I cant ger into the system because someone done it wrong. I call and it takes me a hour to get done before I can get the truck. I had paid help that waited on me for a hour. I arrive to realize the dollies aren't in the truck. My friend gets on the phone and called several places. She was on hold for a super long time. She spoke to someone in Cleveland they didnt have any. This puts me further behind and again I'm paying people that cant get my appliance's moved. I had to wait a later date to get my appliance's moved plus this was a extra cost that I had to pay. I lost money because of U-Haul.
