.They did not have any thing I had ordered online. Moving blanks, (I need 24) or four-wheel dollies, (I needed two).
JAMES BThis was the first and worst experience for some who has never used any moving service to have gone through. I was told multiple things over the “recorded” lines and yet once everything was agreed upon “oh the 15 different agents you spoke to, we could only pull up three and those three calls, did not say what you mentioned”. U-Haul’s supervisor was rude, tried telling me that I was speaking to a woman when I was clearly speaking to a man and gave them the dates and time for every single call interaction. They tried saying I returned my U-Haul late, I literally had it less than 9 hours. They also said I returned it to the wrong location, but the lady I spoke to at pick up TOLD me to bring it back there and how and where to park it upon return, AND where to place the key after hours. Funny how they “tried” reaching out to her to confirm but could never get in touch with her. To top it off they tried charging me $70+ for not filling the gas meter completely but we did with witnesses at the gas station with us as we did it! I signed up and agreed to a special offer that I was given for a day (24 hour) rental for the medium-size U-Haul truck for $50.00, local pickup, with about an hour drive to and an hour drive from, it would have been maybe 10 or 15 miles over the mileage coverage but the worker I spoke with over the phone stated he would cover it for me, I clarified it with him and he said yes because the size u-haul I wanted at first would have been over a two hour drive to and from just to pick it up for I was covered for 130/35 miles in total. The two supervisor I spoke with just flat out refused any and everything I was told and claimed half of the information they could not verify and the other half was “miscommunication but I used different service with a different title and should be charged accordingly because that's what I truly used”. This was absolutely horrible as a first-time user of U-Haul and I had just given birth less than two months ago at the time. I would NEVER use U-Haul again nor recommend this service to anyone. If you can not honor your words through your employees and your supervisors not competent enough to decipher the truth when a customer is positive in their truth WITH evidence like screenshots, photos, paper trails, and call logs, I WILL not and do NOT want to do business with you. Unless, this is a training enforcement to cheat customers out of their money regardless of whether they are correct or misguided. I do not recommend renting from U-Haul. terissa tNo call was made before pick up. When I arrived my furniture dolly was not available. It took 5 phone calls to U Haul to secure one. I was not taken to the vehicle but given a key and told to find it. There was not pre-check for damage so I could not report damage already on the vehicle.

JESSIE JEverything was OK ... The 2 ladies were very nice ... The trucks have too many miles on them (IMO), and either need to be meticulously maintained, or new ones should take their place ... I say this when the drives are much longer ... So, beware ...
Dave SThe store is closed on Sunday and there was not direction on where to park the truck. I drove around and found 1 truck parked in the grass on the side of the shopping complex so I parked there. I went to the front of the store to drop key but there was no drop box. Luck break a lady that happens to work there saw me and said the drop box is on the back door.
ROBERT HI returned the Uhaul after hours. The app made it simple enough to document things, but where to leave the truck was a little vague. Also, there was a now in the front door asking you to drive around back to leave the key - which took some detective work. But easy enough overall.
JUSTA MCouldn't find the location. No personal service. Very confused as to pick up and drop off instructions, needed 3 people to help me to figure out the lock to get the keys out. The truck had no pull out ramp, if i didn't need a ramp I wouldn't have hired a u-haul. Nothing positive. Never would I use this again.

joseph BThe app was terrible and barely worked. The camera function in the app was completely awful, and you should let people upload images they’ve already take with the normal camera function on their phone because the camera function on the app was completely useless

Patricia MSteering needs to be looked at. Over 65 front bed begins shaking really bad both empty and loaded. Wiper blades need to be changed, and trucks steering needs to be looked at as well. The truck definitely needs some work.

Richard MSeveral issues ... 1) I used the mobile app for pick-up and return. It took a lot of time with spotty internet. When I finally received my code to retrieve the key from the lock box, the key wasn't in the box. We had to knock on the back door of Mailboxes and More to secure the key. That defeats the purpose of using the mobile app process. 2) Immediately when starting the vehicle, I received a message that the air in right front tire was low. I was unable to confirm the odometer reading because of the message re the air pressure. I drove to a gas station, spent $2 to fill it up, but the message never cleared. I notified customer service of the additional expenses and mileage, but was essentially advised they couldn't assist me. 3) When returning the vehicle, using the app, I was asked a series of questions ... one which included the issue about the readiness of the vehicle for another family. I attempted to advise that there was an issue but the app wouldn't allow me to process with a NO response so I had to change not to YES, which wrongly indicated the vehicle was ready for the next family. I will never use the mobile app process again.

BRIAN PWe made a reservation for a truck for pick up at a specific location. The day before departure, we were notified that the reservation had been transferred to a different location. We included a dolly on our order and were not notified that it was not available. When we arrived for pick up of our truck we were notified that they did not supply dollies to clients and that if we wanted one we would have to drive to the other side of the city to get one.
Michael FTruck smelled like cigarettes, tires were worn down without any tread left and the brakes didn’t work well at all. Felt very poorly maintained.
