The online check in protocol is absolutely ridiculous. Why do you gave to call two contacts before releasing the truck? You already have my license and credit card info. If you are going to require that then you should verify well before the pick up date- it's a total waste of time.

uHaul screwed up massively by confirming my reservation for 7:00a via email and then the van was not available until 8:30. Also you charged the WRONG CREDIT CARD. You should have charged the card used to book the reservation. I blame uHaul Corporate for their horrible customer service, just absolutely awful. Utter lack of regard for people who are paying a lot of hard earned money to move themselves. Working class people. This is truly shameful.

I had a terrible time with the app. My location was changed without my knowledge. I had to call to get the new location text to me. It didnt already have the appliance dolly wasn't in it. I had to inquire. I dropped it off at 530pm same day. Couldnt figure out how to sign it back in or whatever on the app. It was terrible. The full payment wasn't taken off my card so I now need to call collections.The only saving grace was it was clean and safe to transport my belonging.

The location states it opened at 8am. I arrived at 8am as that is when my reservation was for (8am-2pm). No one was there and the door was locked. I called the location and then a man came to the door 20 minutes later. It took about 30 minutes to receive my moving truck. Even though I had already reserved the truck online. When Roger walked us out to the truck he opened the back and it was filthy. Still trash inside!! I couldn't believe it. However, I was desperate to get out as I needed to move today. Still was charged with a picking my truck up at 8:00am even though I didn't receive my keys until 9:00am. After my mom I tried to drop off my truck through the online option. Yet I wasn't able to as the app said the milage didn't match the milage on the truck assigned to me. So clearly the truck I rented was not the truck I received. This is really no way to do business. The next time I need to move I'll gladly go somewhere else. This place isn't worth the time or the headache. More like a complete waste of money.

Mainway Service Center is my go-to place for a local U-Haul rental. Checkout was fast, service friendly, and the van was perfect for my needs. I was very pleased with my experience at Mainway!

Roger was friendly and processed the paperwork quickly. The van was ready and parked out front. He adjusted the invoice to reflect the accurate mileage after the rental. I've used Uhaul in Peabody, Cambridge, Somerville and in many locations in NH, this was the best experience so far.

Called U-Haul to ask for an additional hour for drop off because I work until 5 o'clock. Lady on the phone told me it was fine as long I had it back before six. I was never told there was an additional charge for getting the truck back 36 minutes past 5? Very misleading information and fees were kept hidden from me. I've placed a complaint about 5 days ago and have still heard nothing. Will not use U-Haul again in the future.

The truck was ready and clean (cab could have used sweeping sand from the driver's side floor). The support given by the owner of the facility was good and helpful, so from that standpoint, it was a good facility for renting one of your vehicles. The reason for not giving it a goo or better rating is the facility is an old, and some what run down auto servicing facility, and not a clean shop with well displayed moving accessories (boxes, tape, pads etc). I believe he had the moving accessories, but nothing was in a clean and well laid out manner. That said, the next time I need a U-haul vehicle or trailer, or if someone asks my recommendation, I would gladly go back to that site and recommend others do as well.

I rented a cargo van. The van smelled strongly like a farm. The furniture pads were not clean, and had the same strong odor. The appearance and display of UHAUL equipment inside the building could use improvement. The attendant who handled my order lacked professionalism and good attitude.

Make sure to check mileage as. I was charged for 50 miles more than I used. I had to call and have it corrected!! The guy was like sorry I made a mistake. Well that mistake held up an additional 153 of my money as he corrected it then charged my cc the correct amount took a week for a refund of the incorrect amount to be refunded to me! For my use of money ! Crap wonder how many people he's tried that with before

Posted time for this location listed it as being open until noon. I arrived at 11:40 only to find the place was closed. I was subsequently charged a full extra day due to their absence. Very very unhappy.

did not have a wide selection of accessories for sale at this location. I needed lights for my suv to be able to pull a trailer but they didn't have them there. They were very helpful in finding a location for me to get the parts though. They went above and beyond to help me get what I needed in a timely way as I had to leave on a trip the next morning. They were all very kind and helpful.
