U-Haul it's self not the location needs to reach customer service reps to learn to talk to thier customers. It's a traumatic expirience calling your help line at all time especially when you guys make mistakes and don't want to own up to it. I personally will never use u haul again but this location is pretty much the best in Brooklyn.Kwadjo O.

These neighborhood dealers need to get there on time. I reserved a van for 11am and didnt get it until 12pm. As well as this location charges a $20 after hours fee because they close at 2:30pm.Shanee B.

The service here was very slow, and I waited in the cold for a long time while they searched for the car keys. This location was unorganised. Then, the truck, after being parked, wouldn't start up again. I had to call a mechanic to jumpstart it twice. Please, check that the trucks are running before handing over the keys. I'm lucky that I had paid the insurance, if not, I would've been charged for this location's negligence.Andrea D.

I got the truck on empty, there was someone's clothes and other customer's paperwork in the truck. I did not receive registration or proper paperwork. Very unprofessional.Jacqueline R.
- The staff was extremely slow - I was initially being blamed for a dent that I did not do until another staff member confirmed it was there prior to me picking up the equipment - The gas was was listed incorrectly on my receipt. I made sure to take a photo of the correct mileage prior to taking off. - I was told I was not able to drop off my uhaul at a different location which was a major inconvenience - The overall customer service was TERRIBLEChantell W.

Arrived on time and was quickly declined services. After booking a one way trip through the u-haul app, I was told by the store rep that I was not allowed to take â€œtheirâ€ truck and drop it off elsewhere. They argued with me and told me it was their truck and I would have to go elsewhere. After talking to traffic over the phone, the store rep called her manager to ask for permission and it was granted. It delayed my move almost 45 min. And all of the equipment I ordered was not available. I was so discontent with this visit.GISELLE R.

Reservation # 20042799 This customer did not have a drop box to return the key, so I wasted an hour on Sunday 4/7/19 trying to return this van in the evening, after being on the phone with several representatives I was asked to return to this location on Monday 4/8/19. I was told that the location opens at 9 am. I start work at 8 am so I requested 2 hours off my job so that I could drop off the key, I got there at 8:50 am and was at the location until 9:45 am but no one came. I spoke to several representatives again was again advised to keep the key. A U-Haul representative came to my job to pick up the key at 4:30 pm. My main concern is the direct disrespect for my time. I asked the representative who picked up the keys about compensation and was told that I could get a $19.99 credit, which is the cost of the van. This is not acceptable, I rented a van for a few hours but had to run around on 2 different days trying to return the vehicle. If a customer chooses to pick-up and drop off when the location is closed, maybe it's because they're extremely busy and don't have the time to be wasted. I am still awaiting a response in reference to how I am going to be compensated.RONALD P.
This location should be closed. They were rude and it smelled horrible. The instructions given by the people at that location was terrible. They allowed the truck I rented to get a ticket hours after I delived the truck back and charged me for it.Alexandra G.
Writing marker on the passenger side door and window. Looks like an outsider wrote on the cargo to be easily cleaned up. Dirty inside. Low pressure tire warning on. Scratches on passenger side. Back door was damage. Back driver side scratched. The location is tight and unkept. Vans are outside because there is so much junk in yard that is frenced in where the cargos should be kept.Elsa M.
Picking the van up was easy, but when we dropped it off, we used the after hours drop off part of the website, which was fine except for the fact that the drop box for the key was locked and I hadn't been given a code to open it. I called uhaul's customer service line and nobody answered - I was kept on hold for at least 20 minutes, while we were standing in a fairly unsafe neighborhood. As luck would have it, the man who gave me the key was dropping off the facility's van and recognized me (mind you, this was a good 20-25 minutes after we arrived) and took the key. Apparently he forgot to open the drop box before he left. Customer service never ended up picking up. Very disappointing drop off experience.Isabella F.
