The transaction was flawless and the helper was knowledgeable, which I very much appreciate. However, the facility reeked of cat urine. I understand outdoor pets, and they were friendly and well behaved (meaning they did not bother us or make us uncomfortable). The smell of the office was very bad. I would ask that they take care of that for future customers.
STEFFANY MI would actually maybe advertise it as a place of business easier to find and personally when you're dropping it off at night maybe not seem like you're going to get murdered while doing it
BRANDY WTold him what I was there for, he told me where to drop the trailer, but the time I did that and walked back to office ever was complete and I left. Probably 5 minutes total. Great!
Bobbie HI was given a truck with 24 miles to empty and not the 1/4 UHaul expects back. We used the truck as storage overnight and returned it 22 miles, using only two miles. We returned the truck with the same amount of gas and was charged an additional $30 fill up fee. The truck should have had the required amount of fuel to start with but didn’t. Also, my quote did not match what the facility gave me upon pick up.
Douglas LWhen I arrived the computers were down. They were trying to work on a backup using a cell phone to complete the rental. The office was in a large garage, but a smaller enclosed space. Employees of the garage kept coming in smoking cigarettes in the small space. It was too cold to wait outside. One employee brought his dogs to work and they kept coming over to me and sniffing me and rubbing against me. The Garage also had cats that roamed the office and work area, so if you have a cat allergy you will need to know this. When they finally completed they could not print any paperwork, so I was told that the email I received from U-Haul would have to suffice. The rental person took me out to the field the trailers were in, but due to inexperience did not know which rental was mine. When I located the trailer she simply left and I was not offered any assistance connecting the trailer to my vehicle. I recently had spine surgery and was unable to lift the tongue of the trailer so I had to get the jack from my vehicle and use it to connect the trailer to my truck. This is not what I would call a stellar experience.
Robert BIn and out good guys!
Jerry JJust look up all of the complaints and claims I've had to file with this shitstorm of a rental. I might not ever rent from U-Haul again after this.
