His worker that eas there yesterday 9/21 at 2:00 pm or so, tried to double the miles and ask for it in cash us the card . we threatened the fact friend was a drummer for the US Air Marshal’s band and he conceded. Buyer beware of that ine employee. All was good prior.

Luis SThis was the worst truck i have ever rented.. i don’t usually do reviews but i am taking the time so corporate would know what/where their name is putting out to the public..First, we had to wait almost an hour because their computer was not turned on and the sales guy had to get a hold of the owner for the password. Secondly, we get in the truck and it was almost on EMPTY.. i took a picture and went back in the store to show them before i left that it was on E..( good thing there was a gas station close by). I was afraid it wouldn’t make it to my house..The truck smelled like cigar and we had to open the windows for awhile. There were cars blocking the truck also so we had to manuver hard to even get out of the lot..Also the wipers were falling off the windshield. ( really unsafe for visibility)It started to rain and we had to make stops to manually fix it every time it fell off(it really needs to be replaced)Lastly, when i returned it they were charging me 17 miles more over the 15 miles i originally contracted.. i showed him the odometer reading and the math wasn’t right. i said to go out and see the actual numbers on the truck..( since i brought it back early).I learned my lesson, only rent from the actual uhaul store/office..(not from a third party convenient store or gas station)..i thought i was booking from the other uhaul on the same street..Don’t the trucks have to be inspected yearly??

Carmel FI first went to the closest Palm Bay rental location, Mr. Stor-It and spoke with Vaughn. He wouldn't have a 20' moving van available for our move in a couple of days. Vaughn was kind enough to take the time to check another local U-Haul dealer, Malabar Discount Beverage. Vaughn made the reservation for me while I waited. I downloaded the U-Haul app and received a confirmation. The gentleman at Malabar Discount Beverage was very helpful and courteous. The rental was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend both dealers.
warren bCosmetic work to make the place look bright. Lighting could be improved indoors and the sign outdoors over the door needs work. The worker seemed a little shy but competent. It would take very little to improve its looks
Sean FLocation was a convenience store frequented by a host of sketchy patrons, some who smelled of weed, wandering in and out while we completed the transaction for picking up the truck. Felt bad for the store clerk who was a young woman who appeared to be operating the whole store on her own, not behind any security glass, and she had to exit the side door of the store to help get the keys for the truck.

Robert WThey didnt have the equipment I ordered, and paid for, to have with the truck. I was told I could pick up the equipment I had ordered if I went down to the U-Haul center down the street. When I went there I was told it was my fault for ording the truck thru the other facility. But the problem is I ordered the truck on line… not one facility or another was my choice knowingly. I had ordered a furniture trolly and when I arrived at the U-Haul center on the corner of Babcock and Palm Bay road they were absolutely RUDE. While I was talking with the counter person explaining that I had ordered the furniture trolly and blankets they gave their last rental one to another customer that came in after me. I was told that if I wanted one I would have to buy one. Then when they set up the rental blankets they said I couldnt return the blankets to the same place I was going to return the truck. When I asked why not I was told that facility doesnt accept the blankets. They never explained I could change my return facility and return everything to one place. That U-Haul center was HORRIBLE, RUDE And should have someone go in and explain what simple courtesy is and then what customer service is, because they have NO CLUE. To be clear this Horrible store was at 4703 Babcock Street NE, Palm Bay Florida.

Timothy HThey did not have the trailer that I reserved and I had to get a smaller one. Did not offer to help locate the one I had reserved just told me there was morning they could do. Because of this I was not able to move all my stuff and had to rent a second uhaul the next day.
Carrie PI had reserved a truck, but it was not available when I went to pick it up. I then had to go to another location. The communications between the two locations did not link up. There were computer issues. The gentleman at location number two worked diligently to tried to straighten out the issue. The process between the two locations took approximately three hours altogether for me to get my truck rental completed. Unsatisfactory
John MThe original location never answered to my call and I was on hold more than an hour not being able to get a hold of anyone from u haul. I had to manually find the e location and the stuff from this location was kindly able to guide me to return.
JUMPEI IUpon dropping off the rental truck, full of gas, along with the 1 dolly. I was charged for 2 additional missing Dolly's that I never rented. I had to contact the corporate office to get this cleared up because the man at this location didn't have a clue what to do. When clearly my initial receipt was for 1 dolly. Although, I have a refund receipt I am still not sure if everything is fixed. I was told that I'd get an email of a close out receipt but have yet to get it!

JAYANTIBHAI PI initially was to pick up a U-Haul truck from Kevin the owner of Unique Cars and Cycles located at 8730 US 1, Micco Florida, on October 1, 2021. When I arrived at 5:40 pm (closes at 6:00 pm) The two gates were padlocked. I called the store and Kevin the very nasty and rude owner answered the phone. I explained I was outside and he said I was to be there at 5:00 pm. I said your store closes at 6:00 pm. Kevin came outside and told me he did not like the way I spoke to him on the phone and he would not rent me the U-Haul and to go somewhere else. It was 5:50pm. Kevin said he is the owner and he had the right to close anytime he wanted. This was very traumatic for me and my family since we had to pack our household belongings and be out of the house the following day by noon. This U-Haul rental should be closed down. Kevin is a disgrace and an obnoxious creep how should not be able to operate anywhere in Florida. Word of mouth is a powerful thing. Rest assured the word is out on he and his" fly by night" business. Michele Cianci

Hezekiah JIt was very confusing at this location. The guy couldn’t understand us and we had a hard time understanding him. The prices he kept giving us was changing. There was empty water bottles in the cab. I was getting mixed messages, one said return in 48hrs by 8pm the other said return in 23hrs by 8pm . As many times as I have rented from uhaul I have never had that many issues.

Carlos EDon’t offer this location!! No parking in busy corner store. Homeless everywhere trash everywhere, with extremely rude staff who have no understanding of anything because manager is always off work. Dangerous neighborhood as well. Had multiple fraudulent charges placed on my account and am in current dispute affairs in regards as well as looking into file credit fraud charges against location with law enforcement. Disclose this information from customers please.

phillip sWe did our move during the Tropical storm between July 30th and Aug 1st on the east coast of Florida. The guy we rented from gave us until 8:00 AM The 1st to return it. We were 2 hours late returning it and the return guy charged us for a third day. No compassion is what it is. I paid it without comment. 56 beans for 2 hours? It’s not like he didn’t have any trucks to rent and no one was standing in a long line waiting for the one we used. Other wise all went well.
WILLIAM Dtook 45 min because person kept stopping to take care of other people instead of finishing up with me. No printer so emailed contract. Windshield wiper on drivers side was broken had to stop on highway to try and repair.
veraellen ptruck was not cleaned/disinfected after last customer. printer was broke i received no receipt and was asked to sign a blank sheet of paper that he wrote "i accept responsibility for damages" on. i got no copy of the paper and it was concerning because anything could have been added to the space above the written text. very unprofessional.
