Person checking me in showed up late for work. Something g about the network being down. They charged me 35.00 additional in gas. I returned with a quarter tank. The same as before I left. I’d like a refund. I traveled about 145 miles and put 70 in the tank. lol they say quiet smooth ride. Hardly. But that’s a different story.

LAURE DSuch a great guy! He was able to help a desperate lady and calmed me down. Was able to get a truck nd not gouge me. Thank you
MICHELLE GThe person left early that day and the uhaul app sucked. It took almost an hr to dispatch the truck after calling uhaul
Michael KBill & Naomi were great and very attentive to every detail great company Tom At TCN
TOM NM&A office is closed on the weekend but thankfully there was 2 mechanics working in the garage otherwise I would not have been able to get my Uhaul. No keys no dolly they had to call someone and after a 1hr and 25 minutes finally found the keys and I left late and was on a time frame.
ed wExcellent service
JOHN JThis was not my original location to pick up the U-Haul. I was originally scheduled to pick up the U-Haul in Marengo but after completing the self check in I discovered that there was no key in the lock box. I talked to an employee on the phone who told me I had to drive to an even further location in Lake in the Hills now. I was coming from Belvidere (where I hoped I would have my U-Haul prepared) but I settled for Marengo. Well that wasted over an hour of my time standing around in a parking lot with no vehicle key. After driving to Lake in the Hills to pick up the U-Haul, I discovered that it had NO gas in it. These vehicles must not be well maintained by rental staff because they aren’t refueling the trucks. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received and honestly might not return.
Jake WIt was hard to find and it was very muddy. The lady I dealt with was great but, the inside was not what I expected from any of the other two locations I dealt with near my home. It was a dirty , dingy shop office.
MARK WWe had a whole in our truck and all of our stuff got wet and some even ruined. When we went to return it there wasn’t even anyone there and it was during their open time. We didn’t get anything off for our stuff getting wet and some of our stuff ruined.
Danielle CNothing. The lady at the front desk was very helpful to the point of starting the truck to warm it up for me while we did the paper work, Then when I returned, the closing was effortless and fast.
Frank LWas not properly "checked out" as I found out later when I called uhaul couple days later. Also, there was no dolly in the truck and was still charged for it.
Desiree MNaomi Was wonderful and helpful thru the entire process Highly recommend M&A Precision Truck Repair Thanks tom @ TCN Cabinets & Design
TOM NFront left blinker was inop and I let them know
Scott CRenee, was amazing great service
Jeremy RThis was the second time I rented from this location. First time no issues. This time my battery died. I was beyond upset. Owner and office manager were off when I called. I believe Steve answered the phone. Took ownership of the situation and had a new battery in the truck in under an hour. Unfortunately, this happened, but TOP NOTCH customer service. My only suggestion is have an off hour answering service or call forwarding of some sort.
Laura MYour no contact pickup didn’t work.
Trenton MThe location was very industrial didn’t feel safe as a female. Lots of construction
Jacquelyn MBetter able to do computer rental
Robert BLocation hard to find, but great customer service, easy to work with.
Laura MGreat customer service. This location is kind of "hidden" off the road but they have great signage to help you find their location. No problems whatsoever.
Catherine COne tire was 35 lbs low and driver side tail light - half the LEDs were not working.
Edward DNaomi is the best.
DAVID KI wanted to use blanket pads but the center didn't have any.
Frank WVery accommodating. Would recommend.

Chuck HI will never recommend U-Haul to anyone and I will never use them again. I had the truck for less than six hours, and it cost over $135 or $1.74 mile; it would have been cheaper if I'd used my own truck and make two trips!
KATHERINE GJust dropped the trailer off, it was. 24 hour location, if it didn't have a uhaul sign it would have been difficult to find and it looked liked an abandon junk yard. But I had no issues dropping it off.
Leonard NThe truck wasn’t serviced and brakes were bad and almost overheated due to not being maintained
Scott KWas there on a Sunday to drop off. Business was closed which is acceptable due to it being Sunday. Gravel lot vehicles every where, was not just a UHaul site, looked like truck repair was also done there, no designated area to leave drop offs.
Chris BNeed to get better at telephone inquires and order taken. Each time I called in, it 20 minutes for a person to talk and order information was incorrect after calling in and checking my order. Also when order a closed trailer, height information was never given. Had to pay for a trailer for one day service to check if I could use it and each time I had a trailer hooked up. It was done in a way that I had to go to a main uhaul location to recheck the connection. And they did a wonderful job. It could have save my so much time in my trip. These second rate vendors shouldn't represent uhaul.
Ramon gIn the last month I rented two trucks from U Haul and bought a couple hundred dollars worth of boxes. All other experiences with U Haul were very positive. The personnel at the West Dundee location were always very helpful, as were the Rolling Meadows folks, the gentleman at That 1 garage in Antigo and people I spoke with on the phone. However when I collected the second truck at M&A, I requested 20 extra miles before overage charges were incurred because I knew that I could not make the drop off 30 miles north of Antigo and get back to Antigo within the 317 miles allowed. This had not been a problem with the first truck so I did not think it would be a problem with the second. The lady was quite rude in first refusing to consider my request. She finally contacted U Haul and on the phone with them, accused me of being aggressive. After U Haul granted my request she claimed I had an attitude. Whether I did or not, it was not appropriate to say to a customer. She then got me the truck but did not stay outside and check the condition with me. Additionally, after we drove the truck a little under 300 miles the check oil light came on. We checked it at the next gas station and it was low on oil. The truck must have been low on oil when we were given it. I would have expected M&A to have checked that before they rented me the truck.
Mark MIt would have helped to have some signage that showed where the U-Haul Office was. It is in amongst a bunch of service bays, and it is hard to find. It would have been helpful to have some designated parking for the U-Haul patrons as well, since it is in the midst of an industrial / manufacturing type area.
steve dGreat People & Service!!!
JASON WI requested one location and got a confirming email. Then the site pointed me to another location and then told me that actually there is no truck there (even though there were trucks in both locations). Only thanks to a technician that was still there at 8 PM In could hire the truck.
Cezary BThe drop off location had no "drop box" available after hours. It took 2 phone calls to Uhaul customer services to be given some instruction on how to solve this issue.
Carlos Jorganize n clean up ur rental yard
Kevin JA decent facility. Kind of a crowded lot but that's to be expected with a truck repair center. The receptionist, Naomi?, was very helpful and did a great job explaining the details and hitching up the trailer. Excellent customer service. The trailer performed well and seemed to be in great condition mechanically. Overall, a great experience.
Paul RThe owner of this business was very nice and took his time to explain everything to us.
LISA PI was contacted by phone the day before pickup as was indicated and told all was in place. I got to the arranged pickup and was told that it was arranged for a location 40 miles away This lack of communication the day before is unacceptable, The contact could have told me when I was contacted.
Ron SThank you!
Andrew VAble to work around the drop off location.
Amy HNaomi is always pleasant to talk with and is a great help with the rentals
RON BNot a large selection of equipment, but they had what I needed and service was great
Ted CThe location was fine for drop off only.
MICHAELENE GThe gal at the desk Naomi was very friendly and very helpful - I will definitely rent from them again.
mark wcheck all aspects of the vehicle not just the cleanliness
william vThe drop off place was truck repair facility. Not very clean or appealing.
RICHARD GIt is not very clear at all where to park the truck. Also, there was no dropbox. Apparently, the business had lost the key to the dropbox and removed it from the wall by the door where it was supposed to be and didn't bother to put anything in its place. They didn't care that people might be dropping off something that evening. I had to drive 45 minutes out of my the next morning (very early) to drop off the key when the business was open. That sucked. When I called U-Haul that evening, they had no solution other than to drive back the next morning.
RILEY BThe owner handled my transaction. He was incredibly nice. The other staff there were all friendly. The truck was in great condition - functional and clean! I would rent from this location again.
REBECCA SWere not open for drop-off and was not advised at pickup about the 24 hour drop off or how it worked. Called another local uhaul location (Uhaul Moving & Storage, Crystal Lake) and spoke with Caleb. He was VERY helpful even though not his contract, etc. That's where I'll go in the future!
JULIET TThey were very helpful and awesome!
Candice GThe office employee could improve by either having customers wait or putting their call on hold. Doing both is annoying to both customers, creates room for misunderstandings, and unprofessional
MICHAEL KReservation process was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! Moving is a very stressful event, and to change the location of where one needs to pick up their trailer THE DAY BEFORE the move is HORRIBLE!!!!! I will not recommend UHaul to ANYONE!!!!!! The only thing that made me calm down was the really nice people at M&A. Everyone else I talked to at UHaul was horrible. I talked to the people at the Spring Hill facility and I talked to two different people in corporate. Not a single one of them was able to help me!
JEFF Inot well marked, with just one sign in front on the drive way but not indication on where the office is, the other works ignored us and I turned around twice before I drove far enough in to find it. the office was not marked at all
JAMIE FThey were very busy with customers who were there for truck repair. It took a long time to be helped.
Karen HHard to find. Little signage. Truck not ready- had to install new tires. Lost 90 minutes of my move time.
Dennis MAlways verify the pick up/drop locations on the phone as to avoid this in the future. 6pm on a saturday nite when you find out you have to drive to another location is not ideal or fun!
