Brenda TWe made a reservation on May 11 to pick up where we lived, Auburn Al. The day before the pickup date, I received an email that I would have to pick up an hour away. There were people that made reservations after me that were given first choice over me. By doing this, it caused me to be a day and half late causing problems for my loaders and was unable to get anyone to help me unload because of u hauls schedule change. I will be filing a complaint and seeking financial damages caused by u haul. I would appreciate an immediate refund due to the inconvenience and the money they cost me by missing some other appointments with clients that were already scheduled. Lottie HBetter gate access after hours. They don't answer number posted on gate. Had to call uhaul customer service and have them call owner personally to open gate from there home.

ROY LSpecifically asked if I could receive a refund if U-Haul was turned in eraly. Was told yes. When I dropped off vehicle at location I choose, they told me that I could not obtain a refund from them and would have to obtain a credit form the location I picked up from. When I called to request, I was told that they never told me that. I KNOW that I was told I could receive a credit. If I was told otherwise, I would not have rushed to unload or return vehicle before 3rd day started and would have taken my time unloading with no issue. Becuase I paid upfront, I was not worried about the funds but am upset over the principle. I was told one thing and then told the opposite after the fact. I did not misunderstand what I was first told.
