I checked in online this time the evening before so I don't have to wait in line with a bunch of other customers this time while the computer system is down or slow. That was my experience last time. Sure enough when I arrived the gentleman couldn't check out the equipment because again the system was down. I was under pressure to be at a certain location on time. So it took me getting upset to get him to give me the trailer i needed. I suggest U-Haul considers upgrading their software system or requires their rental locations to meet specific requirements as far as up to date computer hardware and people who know how to operate it. I had two very frustrating experiences in a row.Dirk B.

Trailer was said to not be available after I arrived. Employee said uhaul website is always wrong. Eventually he agreed to give me the trailer, but when I returned it there was a gate that was closed. Had to find a different location to return to. Got triple charged.Ryan G.

I rented a uhaul this past Friday for Saturday and the car told me l had 6 hours on Saturday and that they had blankets to protect my furniture. I previously spent over $2k coming from Washington to Riverside. I picked my uhaul and the guy told me l only had 4 hours instead of 6 and had blankets? The told me they closed at 2 pm so l left my car inside there gate. I came back at 1:45 and they had locked up early and my car was there until Monday. My contract was not fulfilled. 4 hours instead of 6 and no blankets. My car was locked up until Monday so l borrowed a car on Sunday. Misleading all around. Julian Segobia 619-849-9599Julian S.

The initial quote is misguiding, I got quoted 59$ and my carded got charged 100$. Even though I did not exceed the time limit, mileage or gasoline. It makes no sense. I will not ever do business with uhaul, I would rather hire a handy man next time I need to move.diana P.
I am very frustrated because I dropped off my uhaul at 930am on 10/24/19, 20 minutes before it was due. The guy there took the keys and said we are good to go and they would send an email. At 430pm I recieved a receipt email charging an extra 65 dollars saying my truck was turned in at 12:52pm. This was clearly negligence on the locations part and now I have talked to FOUR people since yesterday and no one can help. The last one said to wait on a call from management which could take 72 hours. We are in a home remodel and just moved, the last thing I need is an extra charge and the stress of having to wait for a call and hope it gets fixed. I am very dissatisfied with Uhaul and will look elsewhere in the future.Alexandra W.

The customer service provided was helpful, nice, and attentive. In addition, the Schedulers, Albert & David, are true gems. I appreciate their patience and kind understanding of this Murphy's Law move. Once I arrived to turn in the truck, the young man receiving the truck was extremely helpful and patient with my slow gait. Thank you SO much for making this part of the moving process stress free. I always use U-haul for my rental needs. But this time there was a problem. when Igot to the pick up location the office was closed. With no delay I was sent to another location where I was treated very well. Then to my surprise I got a check for $50 for my trouble, thank you very much.steve M.

I was not told that I had to pick up truck by a certain time. When I went to pick up my truck they had just given it away and I had to go to another location and pay for the extra miles. I am a new customer had I known that I would lose the truck I would of picked it up. I thought once it was reserved I would be charge from the time I reserved it. I was trying to get all the help together and then pick up the truck. When I called back to complain the person was not wanting to adjust the miles. I feel it was unfair because no one told me that I would lose the truck. What is the point of reserving it if it's not going to be there. I comited the rental and would be charged starting at 8 am why does it matter when I pick it up if that's my rental? I feel I should of been told that the truck would only be held for so long whatever that time is. So now I have to pay the extra miles because I was not told about your policy. It was horrible communication. The day I was supposed to return the uhaul the business was closed and gated off I was not aware of that and the man did not tell me that. Even though on my contract and verbally he stated I must return the truck by Sunday at 1:30pm. So we got charged an arm and a leg. Bullshittherese L.
The worst rental experience with U-Haul I've ever had. I was given the wrong invoice somebody, else's credit card was charged. they mixed up invoices and no one could help me. I spoke to six people before I was able to get this figured out. It took a total of almost 3 hours of my day to get this straightened out. I'm sorry I just think that that is unacceptable.Amelia S.

I was ringing for 2 hrs trying to get a 26ft truck and no one could garentee I would get the 26ft truck and might get a 20ft truck instead which is riddiculous! We were moving out of state and can't just wait and see if we can even move! We had to drive an hour away just to garentee we would get a 26ft truck.JACOB P.
Was called to drop off at alternative location as soon as possible then charged by cause I dident fill it up. Don't rush me if you want me to fill it up we felt bullied and scamed. There was only one person on duty. It is a smog check station as well as U-Haul. We had to wait, longer than we expected, while he took care of three smog-check customers. The delay in getting the truck was my only complaint. As soon as he got to the computer, it went quickly.Katheryn T.

Truck was clean except for the windows were dirty. We had set up a 11:00AM pickup arrived at 11:00 AM had to wait 45 minutes while the only person there did a smog check on a vehicle! I was not happy as I had to drive 240 miles to Las Vegas and wanted to get there before dark. I didn't make it!George H.
