Hal LProvide a jack with the larger trailers. I had a hard time removing the equipment from my vehicle once I arrived at the destination. It was a little dangerous
SCOTT VI asked for a receipt of delivery and they would not give me one. Said I would get it in 24 hours via email. I called 24 hours later and asked and they said they have not completed it and I have not received it yet. This is Sunday. I returned it Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm.

Josh Hcalled in advance due to driving almost 900 miles to get a one way auto transport trailer to buy a car from that area and I wanted to have a smooth trip. The trailer they had for me did NOT meet DOT inspection. it had a bald tire that actually had cords showing. they could call the Uhaul roadside service and wait for them to show up (they didn't know how long that would take). I was allowed to swap out the tire/wheel from different trailer using my own tools and doing the work myself (there was a guy there that was AWESOME and helped me do this). There was no wiring harness to plug into my truck. I actually pulled out and went around the block before I realized this. so It stopped, walked back, and asked about it. they had to "borrow" one from another trailer- good thing I caught it before trying to drive 900 miles back-especially in the dark.

DAWN SIt is my opinion that the cost for the 26 ft. Truck was unreasonably HIGH !! going one way out of state --- including gas approx $ 5 K ...... but had no choice had to take it ....and get there !
RICKY BKeith greeted me and showed me where to park the trailer. He took a look inside to be sure it was empty and cleaned, snapped a picture and I was finished. An email shortly followed up the transaction..

Penelope JWent there at assigned pick up time (Friday 4 P.M.). Truck was not there. Was told that it was still out on a prior rental. Had to come back the next morning at 8:30. Truck hadn't been swept out and had a sticky substance on the floor. Also had dirt caked around the tow hitch (like someone backed it into a dirt pile). The girl at Marcums was wonderful. She added a couple more days on the return and 50 extra miles for the inconvenience.
Timothy GThe folks were very nice and helpful. Bur the 10 ft truck wasn't available, the first 15 ft truck had a dead battery, the final truck wasn't swept out and the tow dolly took 3 tries because the safety chains were wrapped around and too tight to come loose. It took hours.

Gretchen SIf you require a photo of someone's license it would certainly be helpful to the customer to be prompted to do so at home when they have access to the Internet.
Jeffrey MOn an after hours drop off, it would be easier if the app worked all the time. Also, if they had it somewhere written down or someone to explain it, Word for Word, what you’re supposed to do on the drop off. Also, if they could verify the drop off at the time that you drop it off after hours would like an email or a message it would make the customer feel. happier and more comfortable. Give you a warm and fuzzy. Overall U-Haul did a pretty good job. Just need to have a few less places to transfer you two to get the right answer. When I got to the right person, they gave me the right answer.

Norman EI have done several rentals this year and have had toll fees charged to my credit cards. I have spoken to Uhaul and finally managed to get them off one card....I just found them on another cc!!! Four facts : 1. I have not been within 200 miles of toll road at any time in a Uhaul truck 2. Since I was not physically in these locations....Uhaul has to be the one giving out/linking my cc to these toll charges I have not incurred 3. All of my rentals have been local, only. 4. We do not have toll roads in my state 5. My # 615-974-0669

CHARLES SRental was an easy process and the the folks at Marcum's were among the most friendly and helpful I have ever encountered in business. I will use this location for any future rental needs. I can think of no needed improvements.
Wayne WThis business does not care about customers; especially YOUR CUSTOMERS. PERIOD. Although they normally close at 5pm, we had a reservation for p/u at 4:30 pm. Because the boss called and told employees the day had been slow and go ahead and close early, we received a phone call at 3:30p indicating we had to be there before 4p to get the truck as they were all leaving early for the holiday weekend. We were already under an enormous amount of stress with the move and they acted like they didn't care at all. Be there in 30 minutes or no truck. I have been in business before and know how to treat your customers and it certainly is not like that. I let them know then and there I was filing a major complaint. They are not worthy of representing your company. The owner/manager of Marcum Furniture needs a good review of proper customer service, a kick in the ass or retire.

kimberly aCalled and checked if they had what I needed was told they did so I informed them that I would be there in 10 to 15 minutes. When I arrived I was informed that the lady left and wouldn’t be back for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. So I missed 2 appointments. Also almost missed picking my Grand daughter up from school. I was informed they “don’t work for U-Haul” and that I wasn’t important.” They don’t care about uhaul customers and told me that.

Chad CI would not because they don't open till 8 and they don't allow self-check-in even though it's an option... I did a self check-in at 6 am and nothing was prepared I had to wait till 8 when they opened to get my equipment

Heather HI had reserved this unit online without the safe move added. I had checked with my insurance (GEICO) and I was covered up to a gross vehicle weight of 15,000lbs, which this trucks rating is 14,500lbs. They said it was POLICY to have the safe move on all contracts. I was left with no choice but to add this on. I feel really like I was took advantage of and had to pay this unnecessary fee. I have rented other u-haul equipment without any problems. I will not use u-haul again
LUTHER SThey were extremely efficient and very helpful. I've not been to a more friendly U-Haul facility, there are very warm and cordial facility. I have bought furniture from this location and found them to always be extremely outgoing warm and friendly at every encounter. I will continue to support this local business.
James FThis location was hard to locate. The u halls were parked in a lot across the street with no indication that the Rental counter was inside a furniture store. I drove around gor 20 minutes trying to locate the rental office and saw two men putting furniture in a truck and asked them where the office was.

VINCENT Gnone a thing where very helpfull
VINCENT GClean the cab of truck. Center console was filthy from food/beverages. Door panels were also filthy. I had to wash both. Improve the gas mileage. I had a one way rental and only got 10 miles per gallon on a 500 mile trip.
Dwight CWhen I finished submitting the return on my phone, there were no instructions on what to do with the key and the people at the previous U-Haul location had taken the lock. Waited on the U-Haul service line for awhile with no response and just having to take the key to them early the next day.
Tyler AThe 15 ft truck worked well. Improvement: Truck is extremely noisy, had to use hearing protection for the 20 hr drive It would be nice to have cruise control
