There was some confusion about who was supposed to have the one truck at this facility, even though I booked it a few days in advance. The person was very helpful. Things were good, once everything was settled. The truck was in mph vs kph, this could be confusing for some people...

I had reserved a 15 truck at Leslie st location which was close to my place 2 weeks ago. On the day of pick I did online check in and they asked me to pick up the truck from another location which was far from my place. Though Uhaul gave me $0.20/km discount I ended up paying more in Kilometre charges. I don't get it. What's the point of reserving a truck from a particular location and then they say it's not available go to another location. U haul associate told me that it's not in there hands to make it available.

They do not wipe with wipes in this covid pandemic. I forgot my cell phone mount in the truck and on third day when I visited to ask the store for my mount they said it's not there and I lost my $40 mount. My point is if they would wipe interior with wipes they could find it.

While my visit to collect my vehicle I found my location has been changed without any prior information (phone call/email) to me. I faced trouble (time constraints) during my move as I lost 1 hour for this information gap. Although the guy in the Markham convenience helped me to cover 30 min by rescheduling with his following customer. I expected a better service from the customer service of U-Haul.

Dealer had a lot of trouble getting help with a computer error issue. Got transferred 3 to 4 times and then hung up on. After a good half hour finally got someone to complete the reservation online. Dealer was nice but was busy at his till at the variety store and had trouble juggling that and the error with the reservation as well.

I had ran just 8km distance with the rented Uhaul. I requested for 4 hrs rental but returned it within 1.5hrs. The disgusting and in-depth sadful fact is that the shopkeeper who rented the uhaul tries to scam me saying I didn't fill the enough gas for the ride. I had filled the gas 3litres of gas for the ride. He keep on saying I didn't fill. Let me ask u how much gas did you except me to fill for just 8 Kam ride???! He was saying me that I have to pay 9.83$ for the gas. What the fu..k is happening? What I understood that he was making a try to Make be pay additional money for the gas that he won't show up on the uhaul app, so that that extra money looted from me will go to his pocket. I need a reply from the Uhaul authorities regarding the issue or scam happening? Since I already rented the uhaul before And I know the situation I narrowly escaped. What will happen to a new customer ????? Reply is apprey

The AZ agent did not book us for 24 hours but rather for 4. This took about 1/2 hour to sort out so we left late. We were meeting folks to help with the move over an hour away so it was a unfortunate. The agent in Scarborough did his best to get us on our way. Truck was dirty but ran well.

The truck was not clean when we picked it up. There was ice cream or some other sticky substance all over the jump seat and coffee had been spilt all over the console. The truck was parked at the back of the location so we had to walk down an alley way and go behind the building to retrieve it, when it could have easily been parked out front in a more visible (and thus safer feeling location). Also, this is NOT the original location I had booked the truck from. I wanted the location on Kennedy road. Right Care Auto, I believe. To make my experience even less pleasant, when I tried to acquire moving equipment after booking my truck, I was told on the phone it wouldn't be a problem but upon arriving at that location (4095 Kingston road) had to wait 40 minutes for service and was told I could not get equipment as my truck rental was one way and that I had to purchase what I needed, which I did. The customer service at this location was AWFUL. They were inattentive to customers and rude when asked for assistance. However, the gentleman at the location where we picked the truck up was pleasant to deal with and the back of the truck was relatively clean.

This is the worst encounter I've ever had with your company I'm a frequent renter as I use many different service providers such as enterprise or discount rental, I decided to try uhaul the Markham and eglinton location which I deeply regret , the man working had told me that there was a weekly rate which I was ok with, while having the rental vehicle I had not noticed that my credit card was being charged unnecessarily every day that I had the rental for the week. I then noticed that the company had charged me for 8 days when I had the vehicle only for 7 days and when I had called the location they told me that I was wrong and that there was nothing they could've done to reverse the wrong doing. When returning the vehicle before the drop off time I then noticed that there was another final charge. Then I noticed the day after there was another charge of 22$ charged to my credit card. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any rental company this will be the final time ever renting from any uhaul location. I then contacted a reservation manager in Toronto name Fatima and she had advised me that the regional manager for the division I had rented the vehicle would call me by Friday, this was an unpleasant experience. Sent to numerous locations where no trucks were available. Was guaranteed trucks at two locations after calling Brampton office with no preval. Was upset, cost me more money than expected and my move got delayed. Very upset.

Seems like there's no communication at uhaul. I asked to rent a trailer at you Kingston road Location for 830 am. The lady on the phone set up the appt for it. I received the email so I thought everything was good. I checked it 2 days later and the appt was at a different location at 12. I called back in and another lady said it was set up with another location because that one didn't have the trailer, not only that the new location opened up at 11 so I couldn't pick it up at 830am. I asked her why nobody told me and she said I would've got a reminder call from u haul the day before so I would've been told then. She did make arrangements for me to pickup the trailer the night before and not charge me. so I had to rush home after work, grab my truck and make it to the new location by 630 because as per her and the email it said I can only pickup until 630pm. I get there at 625 and the guys says I could've picked up until 11pm, another mess up by uhaul. The gentleman at the convenience store does the paperwork and charges me for two days not one, he says when I return it they will do the adjustment then, no big deal just strange. I return the trailer and the store clerk who did the paperwork isn't there, now it's a different guy. I get the run around that I had the trailer for 2 days and he's not sure why hes refunding me. After some time it all gets sorted out. I work in the service industry and have a team of 60 employees under me. I get that mistakes happen and I'm alright with that. In this circumstance there's not one good thing that happened. It was messup after mess up and I was left trying to fix it. Maybe your business has outgrown your staff, I'm not sure what the issue is, but this experience was absolutely awful.

One of two printers should work when printing contract. Was not made aware that flat bed trucks would be locked up upon arrival and had to borrow one from someone else who was moving items at the time Was not aware that egress was limited to 10 pm,thought that the time was for latest entry. This made for difficulties trying to get all items stored on time.

Quick and easy rental. I've been to other locations and this is definitely the best and will only rent from here now on. Also, the store is open until 12pm which is a nice bonus.
