Richard GI Was Over Charged, I am requesting a refund... They Do NOT ACCEPT CASH... DUE TO EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES I KEPT THE TRUCK FOR 11 DAYS DROVE A total of 40 MILES... I WAS CHARGED $195 SAFE MOVE... A TOTAL OF $827.45... This is outrageous!!!

Michael BYou should actually put in the equipment that the customer asks for also when you log in how much fuel there is before you rip-off the next customer you should make sure that your information is correct. Not happy at all ,cost me an extra $60 plus I had to go get my own appliance Dolly that was supposed to be supplied.. There would not have been a problem had this been a rental With a rental agent instead of me having to do your job on my phone
Gary SLocation was convenient but they overcharged the gas by several gallons and also charged the wrong rate for the gas. Have not received a credit for the overcharges or any response from U-Haul regarding the issue. Drop off location is a busy liquor store.

Melissa GEverything was good except I started off with 1/4 tank of gas. I returned it with 1/2 tank of gas. And got charged $ 47 of gas. I called Uhaul. They said they would work on it. I had the van for 2 hours. I didn’t use much gas so I put $15 in anyway. It took the gas gauge to double what I started with.
Robert WSome previous renter had pissed into center seat console and had stuff plastic bags into it. I was forced to clean this unsanitary mess up! I thought UHaul would give us a clean vehicle. Also we were overcharged for the the amount of blankets we requested! I would never recommend this place again!

Marty FReminded your scheduler that is not alright to change pick-up locations without asking the renter first and also the operator of the satellite location refused to give me a receipt at drop off. the truck was retuned 16 hours early

Michael CIt took me 30 minutes just to check in, and the gentleman in front of me said he was waiting there 45+ before they got to him. Then they lied about how full the gas tank was when they gave me everything and tried to charge me for gas I didn’t use. Luckily I took pictures for proof or I guess I’d be screwed. This location is awful! I love U-Haul services, but go anywhere else!
Austin HThe problem I had with them is that we had a lot of snow the day I rented the van. They didn't bother to remove the snow off the vehicle and I don't think the two men who were behind the counter knew what they were doing. At one point I told them I was in a hurry and I was told to calm down. They would be done in a minute. I am a 70 year old woman and I was shocked that they did not even offer to take the furniture mover and blankets that I rented out to the van for me. I will not be renting from them again.
Cara SI declined Safe Tow coverage and it was added on after I had dropped off the equipment. I'm sure the independent owners get some sort of comission for the Safe Tow add on but there is no excuse for adding it to the bill after the customers rental period/contract has ended.
Robert CThis is a pick-up location only. There are no blankets or extra equipment to rent. We needed an adaptor for our lights. We were confused about the type of adapter we needed and so made several extra stops until we got it figured out. We ended up at a full-service dealer who was able to help us. NOTE: we had originally made the reservation with a full-service dealer very near our home. At the last moment, we were instructed to drive to a different location which did not have the equipment that we needed. This resulted in confusion and frustration. I will say, however, that all along the way the people at the U-Haul locations were friendly and as helpful as possible. If we need to use U-Haul again, I will contact a local full-service dealer directly and not make plans through the website.

Valerie SUpon pick up the gentlemen mentioned to Fill gas to the amount of what was originally in the tank which was less than 3/4 of a tank. We filled the gas after drop off with more than 3/4 but not full since originally it was less than 3/4. The gentlemen check everything said we will send you a receipt as everything looks good. Received the receipt and was charged for gas. Be careful with what they say is ok because you will either be charged or told differently after drop off of equipment. Really disappointing. Will be telling others who want to Use Uhaul at Marshall Liquors they are not trust worthy.

Philip EI know it's your policy (and it probably true of other truck rental businesses), but I find that not having the gas tank full when the customer arrives is an easy money maker for you. Compare it to typical car rental places - you pay for the gas you use. I picked up my truck with the gas tank 1/4 full. First I have to stop at a gas station and fill up before I can get to my task at hand. Then I have to judge how much gas I will need without having any sense as to how many miles per gallon the truck uses. I would guess that most people over estimate so they don't have to stop in the middle of their job to get gas again. This is what happened to me and I way over estimated, costing me a lot of money and benefiting U-haul. It's a very poor business model and a rip off.
Arthur ATighten the ball hitch properly! Almost lost the trailer AND the loose connection damaged my items and severely damaged my ball hitch. Horrible service! I now need to submit a claim on my damaged items, thanks a lot!

Adam RThe fuel allowance was a pittance, since the tank was nearly empty when I picked up the vehicle. I couldn't find a place to list all of the condition concerns, i.e., a strap holding the exhaust pipe up, a glove compartment that wouldn't stay closed. However, the clerks were helpful, and accepted my return without comment.

Edward DI think your rate expectation is misleading. I plugged in my expected mileage ave was only off by a mile or 2 and bright back the rental in the expected condition and time frame but somehow paid almost double than what my estimated charges would be. I could paid my movers a flat rate for less but thought your charges would be less based on the estimate

Rich JThis was the second location I had to go to pick up my truck. The first location gave away my truck. This ended up causing a 5.5 hour delay of packing. I will never ever recommend uhaul to anyone. I will tell everyone to pick any other company. This delayed my departure and caused me to sleep less. Uhaul is an awful company. If you would like to talk to me about this. Please give me a call.
Adam BEveryone did a great job. Good communication from the first call to reserve, the call back to schedule exact time and location as promised and the flexibility at pick-up. I purchased roadside assistance - then locked the only key in the truck!! Again service was great - help arrived within an hour. Consider giving extra key or key fob to help prevent this while traveling long distance.
