I rented a tow-dolly for a vehicle. Two of the dollies we tried had light failures, and the one that had working lights had the plastic around one tire all cracked. The help at the location was great. He worked hard to find a working dolly, and he did a good job showing me how to use it properly.JASON D.

Two days before pick-up, U-haul informed me that my chosen "guaranteed" location was changed to one on the other side of town. The supervisor (Michael M.) was rude and curt and told be to take it or leave it. At the pick-up location, no one was available to help me hook up the trailer. Luckily, I knew how to do it myself. They did not even check to see that I did it right.DAVID L.

Truck wasnt cleaned on the inside and i turned the truck in one hour late and got charged for an entire extra day if i would have known that i would have kept it for l theDaniel S.
After making reservations a month ahead and assured my truck would be at designated location ten minutes from my home (and coordinating with movers) Uhaul gives me last minutes text late afternoon the day before that my location has changed. An hour and a half round tip distance. Left scrambling like crazy to rearrange everything and missing my high school senior's final State swim team dinner because I had to get to Uhaul place, in a storm to get this truck, eating up quarter tank of its gas driving it back to my house. Guy at liquor store who I picked it up from was very friendly and I have no complaints other than it was not a location I'd ever go to again. It was an old liquor store in an area of town I would not go to normally. This is a Uhaul company complaint.ANNA CRISTINA D.

Strange location at a liquor store. There was a sign stating that people waiting in line for a U-Haul would be served only after all liquor store patrons were taken care of. That is not ok.REBECCA A.

The tire strap on the curb side(passenger side) was very worn and frayed making it difficult to operate. I put duct tape on the end of the strap just so I could get it fed thru the mechanism. It would also be nice if u-haul had market lights on the front side of the fenders so that the driver could see for pulling at night.Todd H.
I'm conflicted on this experience. The location and the people I dealt with were great. They were quick, clear and friendly. The truck ran fine and was in good condition, with only 12k miles on it, but the smell of smoke was overwhelming. If you're sensitive to smoke, I'd recommend only renting on a day you can drive with the windows open. Also, for the smokers out there, please be more respectful of everyone and keep the smoking to your own cars.JARED B.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in the store. Employees came and checked the truck and was very nice and helpful. After a very long trip and stressful time. The employees was a breath of fresh air.Shana C.
No one at location to check in equipment. Had to use mobile check-in. It was snowing and I am 74 years old. Unhitching the trailer was difficult as the the trailer had no leveler at the hitch. I should get a $50.00 credit for doing their work.JOHN R.
Very understanding how did daughter get hit by a man said he was a man wasn't a man. U-Haul save the day extended me. We rented a PU & the truck had cigarette ashe all over the seats. It had snowed 6 inches the night before & there was snow on windshield & bed of truck. Was handed a push broom to clean ourselves. There was also trash in bed of truck we had to remove before using the truck to haul items we rented it for. While driving the check engine light came on along w/message to change oil. Luckily we only needed it for 30 milesGLENN B.

There was nobody to help me when I returned the trailer. It was around 5:00pm so they were not closed. The clerk at the liquor store said somebody would help me but after waiting 15 minutes no one helped me. I ended up unhooking the trailer myself and left it in the spot I picked it up.GARY W.
