Upon pick up the gentlemen mentioned to Fill gas to the amount of what was originally in the tank which was less than 3/4 of a tank. We filled the gas after drop off with more than 3/4 but not full since originally it was less than 3/4. The gentlemen check everything said we will send you a receipt as everything looks good. Received the receipt and was charged for gas. Be careful with what they say is ok because you will either be charged or told differently after drop off of equipment. Really disappointing. Will be telling others who want to Use Uhaul at Marshall Liquors they are not trust worthy.Ramiah D.

I know it's your policy (and it probably true of other truck rental businesses), but I find that not having the gas tank full when the customer arrives is an easy money maker for you. Compare it to typical car rental places - you pay for the gas you use. I picked up my truck with the gas tank 1/4 full. First I have to stop at a gas station and fill up before I can get to my task at hand. Then I have to judge how much gas I will need without having any sense as to how many miles per gallon the truck uses. I would guess that most people over estimate so they don't have to stop in the middle of their job to get gas again. This is what happened to me and I way over estimated, costing me a lot of money and benefiting U-haul. It's a very poor business model and a rip off.Arthur A.

Tighten the ball hitch properly! Almost lost the trailer AND the loose connection damaged my items and severely damaged my ball hitch. Horrible service! I now need to submit a claim on my damaged items, thanks a lot!Jordan H.

The fuel allowance was a pittance, since the tank was nearly empty when I picked up the vehicle. I couldn't find a place to list all of the condition concerns, i.e., a strap holding the exhaust pipe up, a glove compartment that wouldn't stay closed. However, the clerks were helpful, and accepted my return without comment.John P.

I think your rate expectation is misleading. I plugged in my expected mileage ave was only off by a mile or 2 and bright back the rental in the expected condition and time frame but somehow paid almost double than what my estimated charges would be. I could paid my movers a flat rate for less but thought your charges would be less based on the estimateRon D.

This was the second location I had to go to pick up my truck. The first location gave away my truck. This ended up causing a 5.5 hour delay of packing. I will never ever recommend uhaul to anyone. I will tell everyone to pick any other company. This delayed my departure and caused me to sleep less. Uhaul is an awful company. If you would like to talk to me about this. Everyone did a great job. Good communication from the first call to reserve, the call back to schedule exact time and location as promised and the flexibility at pick-up. I purchased roadside assistance - then locked the only key in the truck!! Again service was great - help arrived within an hour. Consider giving extra key or key fob to help prevent this while traveling long distance.angela C.

A couple of things I wasn't really happy with was that I was told that I could purchase straps to tie things down with when I picked up the truck they had no straps. I was also told when I picked the truck up that if I returned the truck early I could get money returned for the days I didn't use however when I needed to rent an address truck the next day the lady told my wife that that was not true? I was very disappointed since I spent over $3,000 on a 15 and 20 foot truck and didn't returned them both earlier. I just wish I knew who is telling the truth. The trucks ran fine with the exception of the terrible gas mileage which cost another small fortune.Robert H.
The drop off location was at a liquor store with one employee. He told me where to park the trailer but made no effort to assist in disconnecting. He did not offer a return receipt. Said he had to upload pictures and would do it later. I made him sign and date my rental contract and took my own pictures as proof of return. If a rental need arises again, I will pick up and return at actual Uhaul locations and not a third partyScott P.
Vehicle was FILTHY!! Truck was not even checked in when I arrived and had not been cleaned. Was under 1/8th of a tank of gas and I couldn't even make it 20 miles on the fuel that was in the truck when I leftâ€¦ERIC S.
The employee from Marshall Liquors was very helpful when I had trouble getting the key from the drop box. It wasn't clear to me that the knob needed to be twisted to open the door after entering code. Maybe a simple cartoon arrow will help some customers with the lock box. Other than that great experience doing mobile pickup drop off for first time.Collin W.
The check engine light was on the whole time. There was way to much play in the steering wheel. Almost unsafe and truck needs a front alignment. Last the truck needs shocks. The pick up and drop off location was good. The staff very nice. The truck needs maintenance done ASAPMAE P.
Thank you for asking for my opinion. The vehicle ran well. It did not have any moving blankets and the interior of the cargo area swept, but not very clean. And when I was done, I put six gallons in the tank! The gauge was a little lower than when we started, but we were charged $28 for gas! I don't think that is fair! I am very disappointed with the people who are running that facility! I won't return there! I have used other u haul facilities and have been very satisfied! Not this time. The rep at the liquor store was extremely rude and made the process, on an already stressful day, horrible. There was so much back and forth between him and the digital process on the website what it took an hour just to get the truck. At one point he even removed the keys from the box as we were just about to check out. His demeanor throughout the process was condescending and like he didn't want our business. I rented a tow-dolly for a vehicle. Two of the dollies we tried had light failures, and the one that had working lights had the plastic around one tire all cracked. The help at the location was great. He worked hard to find a working dolly, and he did a good job showing me how to use it properly.JASON D.

Two days before pick-up, U-haul informed me that my chosen "guaranteed" location was changed to one on the other side of town. The supervisor (Michael M.) was rude and curt and told be to take it or leave it. At the pick-up location, no one was available to help me hook up the trailer. Luckily, I knew how to do it myself.
